Wow, that's going to be beautiful vs. HNMs.
Wow, that's going to be beautiful vs. HNMs.
Wish RDM could use the WS after I unlocked it on PLD now :3
Any news on the MNK WS? Didn't see any on the thread.
From a friend of mine, it seems to be stronger than Howling and Dragon Fist but Asuran Fists still seems king for MNKs. Any damage/modifiers/etc.? I don't have the weapon to unlock the WS myself.
trueflight whereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Kamu's second is Gravitation btw. DE>Kamu>Grav
Not sure if this has been said but Atonement's damage goes higher as target's HP decrease.
Does 0 if target has 100% HP, caps (in my case) at 720 damage under 20% or so.
It did 720 damage regardless if the first hit of the WS killed the mob or not (description says it's 2 hits).
It might be enmity related as well though, need more proper tests.
Also it seems to ignore Slashing resistance bonus from certain mobs.
It 720 damage on both a crab and a ghost.
I guess this makes Avalon Breastplate that much better for HNM tanking consider it is the only piece that has accuracy on (compare to ares and AF2), and in order to hit HNM you better have enough accuracy. Very interesting...
I am thinking that every ws probably has some sort of weird mode. Scythe for one has been extremely inconsistant through out the tests. Perhaps the first hit damage is in connection with some sort of weird mode, MP, macc, matt, hate, probably anything you can think of can be a possibility.
This really shouldn't be hard to figure out. Sub RDM, spam some buffs and non-damaging enfeebles, and drop the bomb. If it's 750, it's Enmity. If it isn't, it's HP.
totally didn't read the Atonement tests, fucking wow. Joy just became a great sword even on HNMs.
I've got a question about Atonement. Does the damage for it get reset after you use it or does it stay the same if you're fighting the same enemy?
Kinda hard to figure that out w/o a Shikikyo buddy.
Looked around on other forums. Someone saying Mordant Rime has the following effects and properties.
- Gives an enemy a Slow effect. No idea what % or how long it lasts or resist rate.
- Has a Gravity / Weight effect.
- Primary modifier of CHR (Sounds about right wonder if Hecta is still best WS pieces though.)
Edit!:
If the amount of TP modify's the slow effect Martial Dagger would be nice for this.
Ok, last bit of Atonement speculation before I head home: If adding TP does not affect damage cap, does it maybe affect the amount of CE needed to reach it, assuming it is in fact a function of CE?
So I was fucking around with my friends and did this
Evis >> savage blade made frag then death blossom made distorion behind it
so death blossom is frag/distortion
That indicates Kamu's B property is Compression, not Gravitation.
DE is A Scission/B Detonation
Detonation -> Compression = Gravitation
Re: Atonement
Are we sure that the WS does not convert CE into damage? Because that, um, changes things.
test: build lots of CE, use 100TP Atonement, i.wing, Atonement again. If second Atonement does less damage than first, uh oh.
Drakesbane - small sample of tests
ERon bunnies. 75DRG/THF
control:
STR 80, DEX 89, VIT 65, AGI 72, INT 57, MND 54, CHR 57
WS numbers:
438 436 438 445 432 453 432 446 439 451 446 435
(tested at various TP levels, one at 300TP just to test fTP)
DEX build:
STR 80, DEX 110, VIT 65, AGI 77, INT 57, MND 54, CHR 57
WS numbers:
448 453 443 451 436 427
STR build:
STR 129, DEX 119, VIT 71, AGI 72, INT 57, MND 54, CHR 57
WS numbers:
516, 499, 505, 504, 493, 503, 509
I also tried some WS wearing various VIT MND AGI INT CHR equip and the numbers didn't change much from the control. More testing could be done here if someone wants to see if there are 2 mods to this WS.
assuming my math doesn't suck, its coming out to around ~45-50% STR mod and flat ~1.1fTP. again, small sample so grain of salt.
