ya next week does look good..

this week was good but the guy playing joshua jacksons dad is a bad overactor baaad. that is the only problem with this show
Olivia is fine and a killer actress josh jackson is aiight but fuck they need to can the dad, which would be pretty hard since i think he is the pioneer of fringe science in the show, but a horrible fucking actor

Please reconsider! John Noble ( IMDB profile http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0633604/ is the shit ), and one of the only reasons the show is as decent as it is. Anna Torv and Josh Jackson couldn't carry this show on its own. It would just be another X-files.

It will be interesting to see what Olivia will be required to "fix" next week.

Does anyone else feel like the whole Peter/Olivia thing is getting rushed along due to time constraints? The major plot developments are starting to lack punch and feel watered down. Maybe its just me. I am still thoroughly enjoying the show.

God I hope this entire post is some type of joke I am not getting. He is almost the only reason I watch this show.

I recently realized he plays Boromir/Faramir's father in the third LotR movie.

He does a great job of playing a nut.

I really enjoyed last night's episode. As much as I've dogged the last two episodes because of continuity, I enjoyed seeing more of the history of the Bishop family. The issue with Peter and Walter's books really added some good depth to their relationship, and that's a part of the show I like seeing.

It isn't already? Don't get me wrong this is one of like 3-4 shows I watch as it comes on.. (this, Lost, 24 there's another one prolly) I like the show but the guy does over act bad..(is he still calling the black chick the wrong name..jfc?) and for example in this ep. Olivia insinuates the virus being spread through tea and he says "Yes, Please" >.>..all very lulz worthy to me it seems forced him constantly doing nutty shit. Another example in this episode alone.. he crashed the trash cans and parked in the middle of them, even a fucking nut wouldn't do that. It is very forced. Olivia(Anna) and Josh Jackson could carry this show and I hope they take a turn for that.

Back to the X-files reference.. This IS the X-files (with Fringe science). Every ep usually starts the same as X-files did (no mulder or skully, some crazy shit going down without josh or olivia, bam! theme of show, next scene mulder, skully, or josh and Olivia trying to figure out wtf is going on) and usually a ending you don't see coming with more questions. I really like both shows tho. X-files was better, this is a good substitute. Could be as good without the Dr.

You just described 3/5 of Fox prime time shows. Every show is X-Files. 24 is X-Files with guns, House is X-Files without the Lupus.

Haha, fuck yeah. It has to happen and I can't wait to see bad ass Walter, pissed off at the world. He has already proved that he is great at transitioning between the two.

Walter makes the show. Without his character there is no show. How can you say he is over acting, he went crazy as a result of his forays into the AU to abduct the AU Peter. He is connected to a majority of the experiments gone awry and who knows how much of his research William Bell and Massive Dynamic stole from him in the ten years he was committed in a mental hospital. If Walter is socially stunted/retarded at this point, that part of his charm.

And no Fringe really isn't the X Files. Although the idiot suits at Fox want to treat it like one. C'mon Mulder and Scully were never the sole hope for winning some impending conflict. But if you want to talk about T.V. Formulas most every show on T.V. uses similar intros. But that's another story...

John Noble as Walter makes the show. The spring premiere will be completely about Peter, heck the episode is called "Peter". It will be interesting to see how the story plays out.

I liked him at first, I did, at the very first.. Then I quit watching it for awhile because of that character, no shit and I just now am getting back in to it (and the character is still annoying to me). And to me Anna (Olivia) makes the show. That girl can act better than any actress probably on a prime time drama atm (minus like HBO, Showtime series) on the major networks.

Unless something happened in the time i was away from the show I don't see how people can watch it just because of him.

And no I don't wanna argue with you guys, it's just my opinion.. I like to hear why you guys like the character I just really don't see it.

they fucking tried for 10 seasons to stop a Alien takeover, and the Shadow guys/ MIB/ Smoking Mans people were trying to save their own asses to survive said takeover. That is what the entire show was about minus the fillers

Soon as they said that she could see stuff from the other side, I looked at my wife and said "She's going to see Peter". It was so predictable, yet still so awesome. Seems like it would get really fucking annoying working with a person who's glowing all the time lol. Anyway, as expected, awesome episode.

Walter didn't act like the comedy sidekick in this one, great ending if they rush the relationship with the 2 main characters, the show isn't going to last.. hence the ending me thinks
