I feel the same way. It seems like they only came up with that because they couldn't figure out what to do with the real Olivia while she was over there.

It also sucks that we technically have to wait two weeks for every episode.

So episodes where the original Olivia isn't centric don't count..?

Walternate did that for a reason, and he said he needed her to get to the other side. Obsviously, he has some sort of plan (foreshadowed by the conversation with otherbroyles), and it can't be permanent since she would need to remember he skills to get to the other side.

I got the feeling that Walternate was going to piss off other Broyles enough to the point where other Broyles fucks up the plan somehow, makes original Olivia remember her real self sooner than planned, or something. Should be an interesting dynamic down the road, I see it as it's gonna be a great payoff later on but pretty lame in the short term, like tonight's episode.

JJ only worked on the Pilot episodes and had no further influence on LOST. Was a eh episode overall because they had to cram in a lot of things within an hour.

Felt the same way after they showed him at the end of the episode.

Tonight's episode was alright. I do like that it isn't really spending all episode jumping between each universe though, that would get annoying.

I just mean that each story is supposed to be independent until a certain point in the season. As independent as they can be anyway. So every time something is getting good on either side we have a two week wait for the continuation of that arc.

Enjoyed the episode tonight. I love Walter's character.

EDIT: Although I can't wait until fake Olivia gets outed and everything returns to normal.

When they were reading the will, and Nina gave Walter that look, I glanced at my wife and said, "Walter got 51% of the company...". Sole shareholder though, that's fucking awesome. Now batshit crazy Walter practically has unlimited resources. Makes me wonder what Nina got.
