It sure was. It had potential, it just never lived up to it.

Only reason people watched it was for Eliza Dushku in skimpy outfits.

I watched it for Amy Acker, Eliza Dushku has a dopey face eyes bother me, their shape, the way the lower lid drops down on the outside. But then again I didn't make a point to always watch when it turned out Amy was only in a minor supporting role.

    Spoiler: show
Did the guy with the bad legs transfer over as well, or just Olivia? It seemed like he was still in our world with the device, but from the sound of things he could only be cured in the other universe.

Fairly certain he was cured on our side by a shapeshifter using technology from their side.

Well, at least under surveillance. Basically he was letting people walk into his shop, go into the back room and use a typewriter and mirror. It might be kind of hard to come up with a charge to hold him for that. Maybe they could try to hold him for some sort of terrorist related charge. But Otherlivia had FBI credentials so he can say he was under the impression he was helping an FBI agent.

    "How did she react?"

    "Surprisingly well."

"Do you think they replaced her with a robot?"

I think my jaw was on the floor during the actual Marionette part.

Anna Torv did great with Olivia's breakdowns and I'm glad they're not just going to pretend it never happened like some SciFi shows would. Hoping the next Over There episode deals with Fauxlovia's changing views of the war.

I agree on the ballerina scene, was very creepy. I had a feeling when the guy said that he looked into her eyes and knew that it wasn't her, it was going to hit home with Olivia. Just very unfortunate for those two. Peter noticed the changes, I guess he just couldn't put it together. Bolivia was no where near the investigator like our Olivia.

    Spoiler: show
I wonder if the Watchers know about the alt universe and everything that's going on with that? I'm glad they're back!

Pretty sure they're called Observers, but yeah, glad they're back.

Marionette scene was so incredibly dark, this episodes was a great throwback to old Fringe, loved every second of it. Thought they did a phenomenal job advancing the story, as well.

They do. They have been seen in the alt. universe a few times. I think the first time we saw one over there was in the episode 1985, where both Walters are working to save Peter. In Walternate's universe, one of the Observer's comes in and interrupts Walternate's experments casuing him to miss the chemical reaction he needed to save Peter. I know of at least one other time we see an Observer in the alt. universe was earlier this season with the mathematical genius episode. He can be seen on the bridge in the very beginning.

Also, Fauxlivia was an expert marksman while our Olivia is a good shooter is nowhere near as good as her. On the flip side, our Olivia has photographic memory while the other does not.

    On the Observers...
    Spoiler: show
I think they are the First People we have heard about and some kind of catastrophic event caused most of them to be wiped out. Being so advanced they simply observe things, possibly looking for a crucial moment in time where it would be beneficial for them to attack or restart their civilization. Just a theory. Could be anything with this show.

Also, some good news... Fringe's ratings have slowly been increasing over the last few episodes which is very good. I think possibly people got wind of the bad ratings and are maybe watching it now instead DVR'ing it. I know I am, and I suggest to everyone that watches it to do the same. This show can't end yet

People talk like this season's been bad, but it really hasn't. It just hasn't been as amazing as the second season... Which was just phenomenal. Hard to live up to those standards.
