Watched a replay of this last night. This show reminds me of Bones w/o the chemistry between actors. I turned it off after 10 minutes.

Was an "ok" episode. Kinda feel like the main plot is not moving forward right now and they've fallen back into the "monster-of-the-week" formula. But, at least I have The Event on NBC.
lol event? main plot moving forward? really?
I'm not entirely caught up but I started season 3 yesterday. I think its getting better but not as good as season 1 and like the first half of 2 was. I don't like the whole Olivia thing but w/e the show is still keeping my attention and I hope it can just keep on getting better.
That episode in season 2 with Francis threw me for a loop lol. I instantly put it on pause and had to search for why he was there. Oh and almost forgot about that musical episode that was awesome too.
Last two episode titles revealed:
Spoiler: show
nice
Phew, was kind of worried. I'm not sure it should really go on for more than one season though.
^ thats awesome. I finally caught up to the latest episode yesterday and would hate to see it end. It's been forever since I found a show I could actually get into.
Well maybe they can write a proper ending to the season with the reassurance of another season. Then an epic final season unless they introduce more expanding plot but I don't see the current one being dragged on for more than another season. Some shows just need to end to have a dramatic effect like Prison Break.
Universe collapsing and the Doomsday device, you cant ignore those for much longer.
They have hinted several times this season that there are ways to repair the rift between the worlds. Walter is slowly edging towards that solution. The episode with the elderly couple was evidence of this. How far they intend to take that plot point remains to be seen.
3 week break...
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Promo was funny
"How do we enter her brain?"
Walter: "LSD!"
Really enjoyed tonights episode. I knew who was behind it halfway through the episode, but it was still enjoyable.
But ANOTHER fucking 3 week break. Goddamn it.
Well that episode was pretty much pointless.
So is it just me or was that whole ruse pointless?
I suppose if Walternate had asked Folivia to have the pregnancy accelerated and she said no, he wouldn't have been able to do it at all without her pointing fingers at him (although, I can't see why he would care about that; he may care about the mother of his grandchild while she is carrying his grandchild, but after that, she seems expendable). Walternate is doing everything he can to "win the war" against the other side. He believes that he needs the machine and Peter to do that. Since he can't have Peter, he hopes that the baby's blood will allow him to trick the machine into thinking that Peter is using it (it seems odd that he wouldn't have had Peter's blood to use...and considering that this giant ancient machine only responded to Peter, I find it difficult to believe that you could convince it that Peter was using it). It seems like they were setting up little threads that they could tug at sometime in the future.
Also, I hate babies.
The thing I didn't understand was, Walternate tells scientist guy(don't remember name), No children for experiments! Then he puts Feauxlivia and her baby(a child) through all that shit. I confus.
All Walternate had to do was say, "Hey, you want to be alive and keep your baby too? Well, we got the shit for you". And everything that happened would still be the same. Or they could've done without creating a plot device just to ignore later in the episode to begin with.
I like this show and it's wacky shit, but generally there's some kind of reason for all the madness.
walternate is the secretary of defense no? really think hes gonna make it so that such a procedure be tied to himself? I mean the rest of the fringe team is already questioning the fact that Feauxlivia came back at the same time other broyles dissapeard. Lee is in love with her like we already knew. lots of good things happend this episode. plus the fact that the observers were there, already shows that it was a hella important event.
