I'm confused how that didn't manage to leak. Even the producers scoffed at the idea in interviews as recent as last week.

    this. fucking. show. ARGH.

    Spoiler: show
anyone else feel like Jones' death was really anticlimactic and totally lame? I get that his presence as a super villain was upstaged by Bell's reappearance, but here's my big problem with it: Jones has been shown as extremely cold, extremely calculating, never misses a beat, nigh unstoppable...and he goes after Peter Bishop with a tire iron? just didn't really fit for me.

Yeah it felt really off. The guy has an army of monsters, a ton of henchman and is an evil genius who normally plans 10 steps ahead but he goes alone as a frail scientist to fight off Peter by himself with pretty much his bare hands, it just didn't make any sense.

I thought that was the point, for him to get killed by Peter? He said something like he was the Bishop or something, I just thought it was his plan to be killed by Peter. Thus going after Peter alone and "under-armed". And holy crap did Bell look old and sickly.

No, he thought Bell meant to sacrifice a Bishop (peter)....but it turns out it him..thats why before he turn to dust he said he understood it wrong, that he is the Bishop that Bell is sacrificing.

Same here, just watched it. Very surprised at the return of a certain someone, but it seemed disjointed. Was there any point to the nanite thing or is it leading up to something? Also the chick from Lost can't be in it for like 15 mins, she has to be more involved, be it an innocent who was in the wrong place or a henchman of the real boss. Also, a random beam of light appearing in the middle of Boston - does anyone not know about Fringe division yet after all the shit that's been going on there? And I thought DRJ had a poor sendoff. After being the baddie for the season you'd think he deserved something grander.

Seemed more like they were trying to get a lot of shit into the episode than it not having a purpose.

I also can't remember many episodes where Peter+Olivia and Bell+Jones and Walter+Astrid were all, essentially, on separate paths/arcs.

You've seen episodes with 2 stories, in 2 worlds, with maybe a small introduction of a 3rd sidestory/evil plot. This ep was almost 3 entirely different arcs for the 3 character groups PLUS it had a fringe event in the beginning and a trip out to St. Claires.

Oh plus Peter/Olivia discussion at home, which would fall under their story for the episode but it was also a pretty big deal in terms of their development.

Walter cortexiphans Astrid and saves her, calling it now!

You could def tell the episode was setup to be either the series ender or season ender. Good shit though. Ready to wrap it up.

The experiment on the chick from Lost was freaky and cool at the same time, I could watch that all day.

    Was an awesome episode

    Spoiler: show
The experiment on the chick was amazing. The way her eyes were shooting around and in different directions made me a bit uncomfortable, which is what I imagine the characters felt during it as well. Kind of rare to to feel the same thing as the characters (at least for me).

I'm also guessing at the end with September saying "They are coming," he means the other Observers, leading into that future episode a few weeks ago, which would be fucking awesome if that was the case. I loved that episode

So, the question now is was she really doing that with her eyes or was it just some camera tricks? It seemed legit to me, and would be hella cool if she can really do that shit. Can you imagine doing that and freaking people out all the time. Can you imagine bumping the ugly with her and she starts doing that right as she climaxes? (sorry, maybe a little uncalled for?) woah, would be crazy.... lol

It didn't look real but I could be wrong. When you close one eye the muscles around it scrunch up to do it. I couldn't see any of that going on. It reminds me of the priest in Deadwood who had something going wrong with one of his eyes. I couldn't tell if that was the actor's party trick or special effects too.

Would've creamed if she uttered "I'm not supposed to eat Chocolate before bedtime." during that spaz moment.
