Very interesting episode with Peter using his new found powers to its full extent. Too bad it had to come to an end. I was satisfied with that fight scene but I was hoping for more.

I'm really enjoying how well the story is written with the use of emotions and humanity defining us. As much as I would love to have that tech in my head, I dont know if I would be willing to forever give up my emotions for it. I'm guessing it would vary on an individual basis as I'm pretty sure some people would do it in a heartbeat.

Now that act II has ended, I hope act III starts piecing all the parts together to give us a better understanding of how they'll stop the observers once and for all.

Also yay for Walter on an Acid trip. Next episode looks fun.

Anyone else get the feeling that the kid is the "original" Observer that the implant tech is based on? As a way to give normal humans his abilities. The tech itself rewrites and changes the brain, which is what gives them their abilities. My guess is that they found the kid, studied his brain and discovered what he could do, so they invented a tech that reconstructs their brains to mimic his brain.

My guess is that "the plan" is a tech that uses the kid. Sicne he's the original Observer, he is in a way linked to all of the Observers as their brains mimic his. They're "on the same wave length", so to speak. So my guess is that the machine does one of two things:
1) Sends out a signal to kill all of the Observers, essentially ending the Observer threat
2) Send out a signal to reconstruct the brains in to a normal human brain, essentially ending the Observer threat

My guess is that it does the second. As seen in the last episode, Donald was no longer an Observer. He probably used himself as a test subject to see if it was possible, and then, with the help of the Observer kid, developed a way to do it on a wider area.

I would not say he is the original but just the child of September.

The way I interpret that moment of revelation is that September had a kid with a human female and Michael is an Observer/Human Hybrid.

In Septembers natural timeline, that kid would have normally been killed off for being a chromosomal anomaly. Knowing this, September hid him in the pocket universe with the aid of Walter.

Back in the first season when Peter fell through the ice as a young boy, September ends up saving Peter. When he was told to erase Peter from the timeline in several episodes, he didnt perform his duty as an Observer. This leads me to believe that September knows that Peter is the key to saving his own kid in the future.

The bond a parent forms with their kid will make them do anything to protect them. Walter crossing dimensions, Peter and Olivia's daughter becomes motive, and now Septembers love for his son. That emotion forces September to alter the timeline just to save his own son.

I cant explain any other details but that's my general understanding of why September did everything he has done.

Every episode of this season has been better than the last and this weeks episode was eye opening. I still can't think of what they're gonna do with all the random shit they've been hoarding plus the kid though.

I still want to know what the fuck that rune business was all about at the end of the last season, the one that bound September to the ground they haven't made any mention of it since.

If the plan succeeds and the Observers never existed, then Walter must find the cure for Peter in the original timeline as he's not distracted by September (I think it was him) which means everything that happened after that never happened. But I wonder if TPTB will somehow have Olivia and Peter find each other in an epilogue.

It'll probably be debunked but it's nice to theorise lol.
