Now that it's done, I'll have to sit through it. I originally gave up on it as a junk show about half a season in. Knowing that it was good enough, I'll try to finish it the same way/feeling I had/did for Doctor Who.

i suppose you could say that when he went to the future, he gave instructions of what to do and when (for when it was possible) but yeah. technically, no etta and no peter.

Although, I wonder if Olivia remembers everything that happened. I mean, the kid kept putting his finger up to his mouth, to tell her to keep quiet, but the last time it happened it didn't make sense to me why he did it. Maybe he was 'saying' don't say anything when this is all over because he knew she'd remember because of the cortexiphan?

Ehhhh, and don't mention the Merlin finale lol.

It can't end like this.

The Astrid/Walter/Gene scene was pretty emotional. I can't believe they killed September. I really thought we'd get a lot more teary eyed reunions of sorts after Walter and Michael went back in time to correct history. The white tulip was pretty significant, but I wish it hadn't ended there.

This is the way I understood it too. The 4th Cortexophan she took was used up in her last trip back. I assume she could have had some left to kill him, but with the way he "shushed" her I took it as Michael was the one who killed him, and he asked her to be quiet about it.

the ending really was a let down for me. felt like everyone was getting a happy ending except "donald" and walter. after all they went through (especially walter) you would think they deserved a happy ending. by the end i just wanted to turn it off and try to forget it ever happened

also fwiw, while i was ok with the ending, i was secretly hoping for a steins gate type ending for anyone who's seen the anime.

Walter got exactly what he wanted. Exactly what he had planned for. He felt that only way to atone for his universe breaking ways was to slowly erase himself from existence. September would have been fine taking Michael into the future and explaining things to the scientists there, however it was Walters' plan from the beginning to erase him self in order to truly heal the rift he originally created.

Yeah but, he didn't erase himself entirely did he? He existed up until the point he sent the white tulip in the post. How he disappeared is anyone's guess since he went into the future in the timeline we saw. I believe Olivia might remember what happened because of the cortexiphan and the expression on her face in the park. I don't think Peter remembers but he might wonder where the tulip came from. Walter couldn't have erased himself because how would Peter exist? Ugh, time travel...

I was more than a little disappointed on this one. That good ol' "we dont have any real ideas, we will just give someone super powers out of no where" idea that else to do. They already kind of did it with Olivia previously. At least that had a great deal of backstory.

You guys are confused over nothing. It was all explained in the video he left or Peter.

He was only erased from 2015 and onwards, he want erased completely. He sent the white tulip to Peter because September sent it to Walter, and it heloped him figure things out. He sent the tulip to Peter so that when Peter goes to the lab to find him, he will find the tape Walter left for him. In the tape he explains why he sent the tulip, and why Walter was there on day and not the next, and that he's living he rest of the days in a pace far in to the future. He also explain how what he did had to be done, and that he will always love him etc.

Seriously, did none of you pay any attention at all to the video where the entire white tulip thing was explained?

I'm just wondering how Walter managed to erase himself in 2015 as he had already achieved his goal in the future. Did he wander off, kill himself or did he actually travel through time? And wouldn't it be pointless to erase himself anyway as again, he'd created a new timeline where the Observers never invaded. I'm going around in circles lol.
