Yeah. It's a shame that so many people cling to his performance in college and expect him to repeat that right away in the NFL. It happens with QBs all the time... especially the high draft picks. Some guys can take it, some can't. It does suck.

I wouldn't even think it's the expectations that get to him really as much as the just plain hate.


There's no question he is, even if you hate him, among the 100 best football quarterbacks in the world right now. Not even just most won't, but virtually none of the people who sit around talking shit about him as a quarterback will ever be one of the 100 best in the world at anything significant, let alone something millions of people around the world dream of accomplishing.

That's gotta eat at you in a way most of us could never understand.

I'm not feeling sorry for his hurt emotions. He's being rewarded handsomely for his mediocrity. It sucks that he apparently has suicidal tendencies though.

I'd love to see Vince Young play as well in the pros as he did in college, it would be fucking sweet, he was very entertaining to watch play. I want him to succeed, I have nothing against the guy personally, but I'm not giving him a pass for sucking because he used to be good.

Palmer was gimpy after a hit at the end of the 2nd quarter vs Tennessee. Same knee as the one he hurt 2 years ago. He hobbled up to the line to finish the quarter but definitely was trying to avoid putting weight on it.
