Can't log in to FFXI

Error code: FFXI-3305
Unable to connect to world server.
Specific operation failed.


This problem is plaguing about half my linkshell ATM. When zoning into certain areas the game glitches out and cuts off communication with the rest of the server (except you can still /sea).

I failed to zone from Boat->Nashmau and this was the result:

I wasn't exactly sure where to put this but this seemed most appropriate. Have other people been experiencing this as well? There are some unique and strange things about it.

On any account/character I log in with, I will receive this error. I have access to over 8 accounts, and on all of them failed to log in, receiving the same error message. Restarting my computer/modem did nothing to fix it.

This problem has persisted for one person in my LS for 30 mins + (I heard for someone 5 hours) and it still remains.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

happened to me, i logged in fine 20 minutes ago, relogged and it says the same login erro message as above. no idea what the real issue is. I guess its on SE's end once again

Having the same issue here, not one person in here can log in on 3 different pc's 4 accounts and 12 different chars in various places.

I'm on Ragnarok too and i just hit the same problem along with the 3 other people while we were doing the COR AF hat BC. I tried 2 accounts, both no good.

Edit: LS mate said that GM said the server went orz
