I am thinking about picking this game up for my 360, I'm running dry on games to play on it. :/

I've never played it, but I've also never heard a bad thing about it either.
YOu could have asked this in the sticky thread instead of clogging up our internet tubes...but as Lbelle said, I've only heard good things. I'll probably pick up the 360 version when it drops.
Definite Yay.
honestly it's overrated. The story is so drawl I just dropped the game after about 4 hours. The whole concept is kind of cool and the gameplay isn't bad, but really I think the delivery was just lost on me because I didn't really enjoy it.
It's pretty unique though, definitely a new experience for me overall, so I'd say try it out. Not worth buying, but definitely worth the rental.
If you need a game to play on 360 get castle crashers. Shit's like 12 bucks and it's awesome.
I liked you too...now I'll be forced to make your life a living hell...
I'll be sending you flowers that explode, pies that taste like rubberbands and turn all your water to kool aid (sounds fun, but not when *all* your water is cool aid).
By the way, I only liked you cause your daughter is cute :D
I liked the game, good pick. Have fun![]()
It's a pretty good game overall. Some of it gets a bit monotonous but overall it keeps you interested throughout the entire story. The controls are pretty good and you are able to genetically alter yourself so that you gain powers(freeze blast, telekinesis, fire a swarm of bees, pyrokinesis etc.) Pretty fun and there are a shitload of worse games you could buy in it's place.
Fairly short, no multiplayer, but great game.
Might consider renting instead.
I enjoyed both the storyline and the gameplay. It was atmospheric, thought-provoking, and occasionally intense as all hell. Bare in mind, though, that I've only played the PC (and only a quasi-legally obtained) version, so my opinions may be biased in favour of hueg freakin' machines being able to pump out all my Big Daddy-slaying-Little-Sister-savin'-ADAM-gettin'-Splicer-shootin' fantasies.
Again, like all of the ~shock games, it's both philosophically interesting and very atmospheric in some places.
Good story-- IF you stop and listen to MOST recordings you come across. However, this quickly becomes redundant. Mostly because you will find one recording, be listening to it as you search (Hard if you have ADD) and later will come across a different recording and well, you end up sitting there waiting for one recording to end so you can pick up another.
Great presentation. Beautiful background, great scenarios/boss. Only complaint is that it is like a RPG, and it seems like over the course of the game you will be able to level up so many perks/abilities/plasmids-- However, a lot of them aren't as useful as a gun. Also, the game ends right when you are expecting there to be at least 4 hours left.
No multiplayer.
Yay-Rent. Unless you want to add it to your collection, only 39.99 now.
It's YEA or nay.
I played the PC version for a bit and it was ok. The humor was forced, but people like it anyway. The gameplay was OK.
Is this the game that's based on Ayn Rand? (The story part at least?) If so, I wouldn't pick it up just on principle.
But if you're not a crank like me, probably a good decision to buy it, I've only heard good things.
It's based on Ayn Rand's Objectivism, but it criticizes it more than anything.
Rental.
I guess, but it doesn't even really talk about it, just a few allusions and the simple implication that "this place sucks." I'm guessing "messagey" didn't focus test well so any real meaning was hacked out.
I could rant about the failings of Bioshock, but I have Salvage to do.
It is pretty fun though, it just isn't as deep and the plot isn't as great as people say, at least in my opinion.
very fun game
Yay.
Really great concept, really great story, and great gameplay, definitely worth a playthru
