3-second freezes in FFXI - PCI wifi related?

I've had a lot of computer problems lately (Motherboard and hard drive failure), but all of them seem to have been solved but this one. For the past 3 days, whenever I'm playing FFXI, about every 90 seconds the game freezes for right around 3 seconds and then unfreezes. It's making tanking and camping a lot harder than they should be. I've gone through a dozen different computer changes lately, but since reading that a similar problem was related to a PCI network card I've throught about it, and I'm fairly sure that this problem started when I installed a Netgear wireless adapter in my computer. My problem is that the USB wifi I was using previously was vastly inferior to this as far as maintaining a stable connection.

I've got an Athlon64 3200+ with a GB of RAM on an Asus K8V SE Deluxe motherboard. Video card is a GeForce 7800 GS that is more than sufficient for this and which doesn't run hot. I'm currently using some old backup ATA hard drives since my SATA one is fried. Power source is a Thermaltake 420W. Video card is on its own line.

Every one of these components except the new wifi card has worked fine for FFXI in the past. I've had some similar freezing issues (Though they lasted longer than 3 seconds) in the past, and I'm not sure if I cleared them up by upgrading to this power supply, by removing an old PCI network card I had connected, or what. I'm pretty sure every last driver is now updated. I'm on a 24-hour old installation of XP with SP3 and all current updates. I've tried a dozen revisions of my nvida drivers. Many of the newer ones try to lock me into 640x480, 4 bit color mode, but I got it working previously with some new Omega drivers, and currently with old 81.98 drivers. Both times, I had this freezing issue.

Any suggestions on where to go from here? Some BIOS setting I need to be screwing with? A program that can tell me what's causing this? I just don't want to have to go back to USB wifi, which was a 2-month long nightmare for me.

I timed it today, and these are happening on very regular intervals, about 66.5 seconds apart. Doing a little Google searching, I've determined that this could either be related to whatever Netware serializing is (Would my DSL provider be on a Netware network) or to teenage mothers giving birth. I disabled QoS Packets with no improvement, and also turned off Windows Firewall, also with no improvements. Any guesses on what I should try next?

Reinstalled my network drivers again and the issue seems to have cleared.
