Ok back story: my friend leads a ls and does sky with this guy and he applies to his ls. The guy shows up a lot and seemed like a cool dude, but his gear was retarded. Like nuking in zenith legs/head/loq earring/ether ring/fenrir's torque/fenrir's stone/antivenom earring(Aka no moldavite) yigit body/hands. Basically as much mp as he could. So my friend told him that he would have to get the obvious buyable pieces of gear:

naturally the dude got denied, but he's still in the sky ls with him. So he's been becoming more hostile towards my friend. For example on their forums they're talking about who should be a new sack holder.

I seriously have no idea. No one attempts to lead aside from the current sack holders. I nominate myself to NOT become sack holder. Awesome

I'm confused... if he doesn't buy gear, how the hell did he get those zenith abjurations? Don't even tell me he farmed all the ingredients. (though I did that with zenith slacks, that was back when siren hair was obtainable through easy NMs)

I can understand to a certain extent how people will prefer to use a rare/ex piece vs a buyable (sellable >.>) piece, but only if the ex is on par with the AHable. In the case of zenith and mp gear vs REAL blm gear... no. It makes me sad that people like that even reach 75.
