This camp should be required just as much as Maat for hitting 70+ for those 2 jobs.

Actually there's nothing really wrong with that 2nd PLD either, the belt and legs are a little iffy but it looks like a shield/ohshit set.

Not really. At level 25 if they still refuse to dia/debuff a mob then they are probably stupid.
And yeah, 50% of red mages out there still don't bother with dia, haste etc. even at level 60+. I simply can't blame ToAU for this.

It's most certainly feasible to see all kinds of shit drop(including the currency for an Aegis) before you see a Valor Surcoat/Hydra Haubert drop, upgrading to Gallant+1 is an almost useless boost, aside from the fact that even then Temenos is stingy as fuck on it's own.

Second guy, as its been said, it looks like a shadows down, shield+ set up. Static isn't a bad earring for pld, esp a aegis user. Tho i'm sure you know whats good for plds seing you have it yet are calling MDB bad for a pld.
Thrid guy is confused, lacking quite alot from his build and has useless items.
Forth guy, town shot. Gallant isn't bad also, ares feet questionable if he really uses those or townbut again, town shot.
Fifth guy, looks like a int set up, maybe confused as to why no mahatma slops but oh well, the rest of the set up of his didn't give it away? Looks like a nuking set, with that in mind, lacking af2 legs maybe.

No, and that's a common misunderstanding.
(Another is that 50% is not the cap on straight up "Magic Damage Taken", hence why I love the Aegis PLD on Cerberus that used full HQ Coral, yay for having a relic and no idea how it works)

It caps your "Magic Damage Taken" stat at 50%, you can further reduce your Magic Damage Taken by stacking on Magic Defense Bonus, which works at a rate of 1MDB=0.9% Magic Damage Taken.
