Is Level Sync worth coming back for?

17.3k in qufim? Wow. I dont get how syncing gets you that when theoritically you're still a level 20~ party in qufim. It was never like that before..is it because skill level is greater? XD

Edit: COR and BRD nevermind.

and generally sync parties have fewer random pickups with questionable gear (assuming you exp with people who know who are competent, you might only have one or two).

i'd get rid fo the SCH, otherwise a decent setup. also

go camp in the alley by the pugils. pull pugs and if you have somebody (WAR) with acid bolts. chain the shit out of pugs, then when pugs run out pull clips while pugs respawn.

Important: dia + Acid on every mob. and remember, waterwall gets dispelled by Acid bolt proc, as does scissor guard on crabs.

21 is the sweet spot, at 23, you can do chain 10s, ... during that level range we spiked up to 19.2k for about 20 minutes.

The sch was doing some decent nuke damage, but ya. Qufim island was SOOOOO overcamped that people were camping in even the most unconventional spots..so we made due with what we could..luckily we were the only party inside the tower so we monopolized the goblins and later the gigas. In the end I went from 1kTNL 30 to about 1.5K into 32 in about 2 hours. Not a bad run at all imo. Definitely better than trying to kill beetles without dispel lol.

The thing I noticed is that we could handle two or three mobs at a time, with the PLD just holding them until we got to them. I don't know why it seemed more easy than with a normal party, maybe because everyone had already capped skills and merits, but it just seemed easier than normal.

we did 11k/hr for about an hour without ring on worms in qufim. (same setup: cor + brd) I'd believe 17.3 is possible

fortunately, with the exception of a couple jobs - the hot jobs for each level range vary quite a bit (I wouldn't invite anything over a thief for DD in the 30s for instance)

I think it's worth it if you though XP'ing was too annoying LFP. My metric may be skewed since I was playing BRD, but I went from 47-55 this weekend, while also getting my AF and other assorted stuff.

Level Sync is also damn nice for capping to the lowest person, so your XP camp Stays Insane. I was in 4 Parties over the weekend, and only 1 was crappy. The main XP Part was with my LS, were I basically went from 49-53 in Bha Thickets. I was the low-man by 3 levels, and my XP was maybe 15-20 lower then the other folks.

But yeah, Level Sync is nice, but it doesn't mean all your PT members are necessarily with it.

had my first yesterday. lvl 60 sam (me and sync lvl) lvl 64 war and 75 pld drg whm rdm. 8k/hr on colis at leypoint. colis were already a bit low but was so fun to whack through them with fulltime hasso

it will never be a replace for a real pt at the given lvl, but it's a nice way to get exp if there is any reason you can't get it the usual way.
