on the Souleater issue, if the nerf it, whatever, if not, great. It will just be a matter of time after that a few things happens if they do nerf it:
1: A good portion of the zerg and/or non zerg drk community will get pissed and quit
2. People will QQ for 2 mins and then find another way to zerg/semi zerg it and people will continute to QQ about this new way, much like an endless waltz.
3: People will actually figure out a non zerg strategy for AV and then everyone and either mothers sister's ex boyfriends kid will have a lolsash.

If they hadn't made us suffer for 3 years with this NM, I may agree with you, but it's beyond the point where players deserved an easy button. If they want to "right the ship" so to speak, leave him the way he is and introduce an NPC to give clues on how to defeat him normally. If you didn't suffer through AV 2 and 3 years ago, before and after the wynav glitch and wall draw-in, I don't think you can truly understand the frustration.

My LS made one serious attempt and got him half-locked. No 2 hours, but he spammed the shit out of spells and TP moves. The upshot: No more wynavs so it was impossible to get him fully-locked, therefore he was unkillable. A day or two later, they patched him.

The long-timers in my shell aren't batting an eye at suddenly having to level DRK to get this fucker killed. Hopefully, if AV is touched it's going to be to lower his DEF and open him up to zergs that don't have to involve Souleater.

Seriously, it's not that hard to get to floor 100. You only have to do it once, then you can break every weapon at 250 points. Jeez.

After you go and read the 10k+ posts about AV tests and then go test yourself for hour upon hour you can come back and say this if you dare. And the video was not a 10+ hour fight, it was about an hour and a half where they used developer cheats.

You can't prove SE used cheat in their videos. They even mentioned in their interview that the fight took so long it won't be possible to show player the whole fight.

Refering to the 10k posts you just mentioned is kind of pointless now. SE clearly stated they have changed AV HP and beheviour. Without proper testing no1 knows whether it's possible to take down AV the normal way post update. They may have nerfed its 2hr, or make meteor survivable (with a few tricks perhaps).
