Refering to the 10k posts you just mentioned is kind of pointless now. SE clearly stated they have changed AV HP and beheviour. Without proper testing no1 knows whether it's possible to take down AV the normal way post update. They may have nerfed its 2hr, or make meteor survivable (with a few tricks perhaps).

except, you do realize that many lses tried killing av after the nerf and before people started to zerg it right? I can tell you first hand that meteor did 2k dmg to me (funny as heck). It can still do mass aerogas. And I have to say THE MOST IMPORTANT issue is it can still benediction more than once in a fight.

From watching it here is my guess as to the "behavior" change: Pre-nerf av may have had 6-7 "Tricks" to lock down 2 hours. post-nerf they probably took out some need for those tricks and brought it down to 3-4, thinking "they have less to try and figure out now!" I some times even think that av's lowered hp (and weakened pets) might have been possible through a trick pre nerf, and they got rid of that. Though that is a stretch I know.


Where or not this is true doesn't even matter. What makes that whole thing retarded is that there still are "tricks" to AV, and probably some are still from when it was introduced. Which no matter how you look at it brings us back to square one. AV can be tested more often now it's true, but the frustration from a lot of lses hasn't gone away. And if this update doesn't affect AV at all I doubt you'll find many lses taking the time to try and figure out the tricks again after years of trying.

Or you know you could try to figure it out yourself rather than complaining that other lses aren't trying to figure it out.

Seriously, it's not that hard to get to floor 100. You only have to do it once, then you can break every weapon at 250 points. Jeez.

thanks for the fix, but i actually have a progressed disc. and i've helped my friends do over 3000 ws points. not their fault that they didn't have a disc before the patch and they shouldn't have to wait a couple weeks before being able to access something others can do effortlessly. my main concern is for the people that don't have any progress at all and have done over 5000-6000 ws points only to be mislead by the vague/openended quest

but yes, by all means, lets have this patch not be about the ws requirements, lets have it change souleater and dynamis like everyone else is saying

I still think that there is an alternative method to killing AV since as mentioned earlier, it only takes one ability to screw up the entire fight (Perfect Dodge the KC DRKs and you're screwed). It seems most KC attempts are accomplished due to luck with AV based on AV's 2hr selection. Of course there are other NMs with abilities that can screw up an entire strategy or wipe the alliance, but generally there are ways to avoid such abilities. If you were to compare AV to Tiamat, it would essentially the same as Tiamat Spike Flailing at set intervals (I believe its ~60sec between 2hrs?) even when no one has drawn hate from behind him.

Or you know you could try to figure it out yourself rather than complaining that other lses aren't trying to figure it out.

Effortlessly? Because obviously I just talk to an NPC and get my Runic Key? it's an option. You can either spam WSs and SCs on crabs for hours, or spend those hours climbing Nyzul.

If someone who worked hard to get their Runic Disc to 100 for the WS and job-specific weapon (before the patch where they shit down weapons, ofc), why should people who didn't get the same reward?

By doing this, SE are making people climb and take part in Nyzul for and easier way to unlock the WS, rather than this incredible grind. But hey if nobody wants to do it that way, it's not anyone else's problem.

It's like how if you want to do ZNM, you need to take part in Pankration, sorta. Or you could just spam gold pieces for Jettons, it's totally up to you.

Except that he has been tested since the update and he is the same. The behavior change is that he spawns 100% and draws in now. His being weakened is that he has less hp. The fight took less than 2 hours in the video, until you realize this, your points are null.

He's going to say something along the lines of his friends put in that same effort too, only they didn't get the reward because before the patch their disc was not advanced. You will counter by saying those people didn't have to spend their Nyzul tokens to advance their disc, so the reward is not for them having done Nyzul itself, it's for having had spent the tokens to advance the disc. Now we can skip the entire encounter.

This has been said 100 times, what about the people who helped you get that floor 100 disc? hmmm? i think its unfair to people such as myself who have helped others get to floor 100(i myself have not done 100 but i have helped groups of people do many times 30-50 and once i did a 60-70.

Its just out of hand that i have done 6000+ points and have done a good amount of Nyzul to only be screwed over.

Now i can QQ all i want but the people that i really feel bad for are the ones who helped 2 people get to floor 100. They did it two times and they still have to get to floor 100 again if they want the nice little 250= ws. or heck maybe they are in the same boat as me done 6000+ ws and they even went to floor 100...

I climbed Floor 0-100 pre-update, I just wasn't the disc holder. Doing the climb all over again is kind of a pain in the ass. I wish they had let you exchange Nyzul Tokens from the starting chest for something you could trade to that BLU NPC in Whitegate to help him "unlock the power" of your weapon or some shit. Climbing again anyways now, it's just a pain in the ass and hurts my Salvage ability.

That may be the case, and I won't disagree since you certainly have more experience, but I doubt that the secret to killing Absolute Virtue is through Absolute Speed. However, you point does stand that the method for killing AV through KC DRKs is somewhat more reliable than I originally gave it credit for even though it's a very fine margin in which you have to beat him (Possibly the reason for limiting it to a 2hr fight though no?).

What about those who were never disk holders though? You know the other five members of the party. I've been through 1-100, 1-80, and 1-60 yet have nothing to show for it. It would be nice if SE had made a system in which all members of that party benefited from the beginning. Instead, we're going through all the floor (Yes starting from the base floor) again so that everyone gets their disk to 100. How does going through all these floors again set us apart from the other Nyzul Isle groups that started a week ago?

4/6 people in my static don't have 100. Do I feel bad for them? No. Know what we're doing? Getting them 100. They all move up at the same time, and as a bonus, it means we can farm even more weapons, build even more points, and farm even more armor.

a fix to this would of been buying floors so to speak. every 2000 tokens you have you get 5 floors or something.(they could of even made this a short term thing)just to help the people a little who did a tone of runs but where not the lucky disc holders.

i have 20,000 tokens... why am i only on floor 10 ; ;
