And it starts. We've had Dynamis Xarcabard reserved for over a month on Asura and some low man JP ls named Vesperia comes while 30+ of us are standing there waiting for the zone to open and starts spam trading glass. We do the same, but they get it. I never again want to hear about etiquette from the Japanese, they are in no way, shape or form better than anybody else and in this case they are worse. We had over 30 people standing there a good half hour before they even arrived so they knew exactly what they were doing. Now we are doing sandy and I am beyond pissed.

same thing happaned to me in my old dyna shell, except we got a glass and sent one of our guys in. It was beauc ^_^; and we they got 14 or so singles and a smn af2 body(his smn is lvl 1)

We told them that Xarcabard had no Vespene gas, but they didn't get it.

Haha, well there were only 6 of them. Maybe it was the people from their ls who missed out yesterday. I'm glad you at least beat them to it yesterday.

in my old ls when a jp ls jacked our xarc someone got a glass by spam trading one of their members, we sent in 28~ people since noone wanted to do a city and got a shadow ring out of it. after we killed dynamis lord it just turned into a huge mpk fest between us and the jp group, was a fun night!

Not that it's something to brag about, but back when RMT were doing dynamis for the gilz~ I saw a group entering Jeuno. I was just in the area and saw the glass being spammed. Knowing it was an RMT group (had seen them around for a while, long before STF (thank you SE)) I spam traded their leader and got a glass.

Only got about 20 singles out of it. Lots of /shout'ing about filthy NAs and
Tarutarus. Haha good times.

I agree Jacking a zone from right under someone elses nose is just lame. On the other hand I find it so very typical that people always assume that everyone knows their/all linkshells and schedules. First thing a friend of mine did when the dyna update came was take a bunch of us into dyna xarc. I knew someone in my LS that did dyna on the same day and was able to ask if his LS had scheduled dyna xarc to which he replied that they didn't.

Ofcourse we aren't inside for 1h and someone mentions that another linkshell has xarc schedule about 30 minutes later (we hit 3 TEs so would block them for an hour). There was nobody there at the time we entered, so there wasnt any indication of there being any schedule. It's also not possible for someone to leave a note there, lol.

Lots of fun was had by all even though it was a first time for many and we didn't do as much as we wanted (left ~20min early for the other shell too). Now we are planning to go in again next tuesday but yeah the following problem will arise: all the established shells will claim they have more rights then you because they are established and schedule a month in advance. It's a difficult situation, if you want to avoid jacking someone elses xarc you might as well just sit in your moghouse because that ain't gonna happen when the big boys come out to play.

You might ask why not just join on of those shells? One of them is a mainly French shell in which I'm personally just not interested, heck I can't even read their site because its in French. The other one is a EU/US one which just starts too late for me.

BTW, Apologies to Isis for 'jacking' the zone even though I heard you started 45 minutes after we left (which would've still been 25m after we ran out of time).

I took my friends for a Dyna-Xarc run Saturday, we were a low man group and just wanted to have some fun in there. I looked around for places to check and see if anyone had a Dyna-Schedule set up for Odin but couldn't find one. I seen one group in there and seen a second one lined up waiting to go, so as soon as the second one went in I put my mule at the trail marking with a /seacom saying what time we were planning on entering at. If a leader had of contacted me saying they had it scheduled for that time I would of backed off, but no one did. If an LS had started gathering like 30 min before we were set to enter I woulda backed off as well, but if they started gathering like 5 min before we wanted to enter I wouldn't have backed off then.

It sucks getting zones jacked, it's happened to me many times in previous LS's I was part of, I guess being part of the largest server makes it a little harder for everyone to co-ordinate, but some LS's are good and I've seen leaders /random for zones to settle disputes.

Cause of this update it's bound to happen for the next while, all you can do is /shrug it off and move onto the next zone or just wait another day, altho I tend to be vindictive when stuff like that happens to me so would probably spam trade to one of the leaders in hopes of getting a glass lol.

Same thing happened on Phoenix last night. One of the Phoenix LSes was getting ready to go into Xarcabard that they had scheduled, when 10 JP show up and start spam trading glass. The JP LS didn't get in, but it's still frustrating to know that this is going to start happening a lot more often.

I think we need a linkshell to stay at trail markings for 18 hours to cause a media frenzy for instancing dynamis. Though I do like the occasional xarc to valkrum change up, it seems the only time we are jacked it's on the 72 hour reset. Screw entry time on two runs for the price of one asshat.

There is also a site called dynamiscalendar.com but I believe the majority of the NA shells on Odin have migrated to using Dev's calendar. If in doubt, check both.

We had this issue on Ifrit for a few months with a JP group that would shout for members and enter into either glacier or xar whichever zone they felt like doing. Also if a NA ls beat them to trade glass at one zone, they would just jack the other.

Even after the /shout leader was informed of the dynamis calendar and said he would check it from now on, he continued to jack zones from people so that way he could farm AF2.

I see it getting worse now since everyone and their brother is going to try and schedule beau/xar as often as possible; people are just going to jack zones if they feel you have been doing a certain ice zone too often.

It was directed at Aragorn and specifically the Odin server since Dev's calendar is primarily used by Odin. Never said it would stop JP shout groups, but just wanted to inform someone from Odin who was misinformed that there was no calendar being used by Odin. No denying zone-jacking is going to happen more often now.

If JPs want their own JP-onry server I would give them and they can go die there. This happens to us a lot to the point we changed dynamis schedule to avoid a group of 7 jps that always entered xarcabard 30 minutes before us.
