    School Books / Online License?

    Someone recently told me there was somewhere online, for at least some books, you could pay an online license fee, and you'd have access to read the book online. Some of my books this semester are rather expensive, so I was wondering if someone's heard of this? Or any other good resources for school books? Are there any torrent for this kind of thing? Or just half.com type deal?

    It's only for a few books, and generally it's the publisher offering. College text book publishers are greedy, greedy arseholes.

    Seriously, couldn't sell a textbook back because one sentence on one page was different between versions.
