Right, right, right. I forgot the clause in the internet rule book where insulting people over trivial things makes you cool and right. Sorry, there's nothing wrong with my attention span, but apparently there is something wrong with your reading comprehension. I don't give a damn if there are fight scenes and whatnot, but almost the entire episode was filled with Sam hallucinating, and his hallucinations telling us things we had already inferred.

The only two plot developments we saw in this episode were Sam running off with Ruby, and Anna getting taken back to Heaven. It wasn't an episode of amazingly 1337 story developments, it was just 30 minutes of Sam hallucinating; 2 minutes of Anna's abduction; and 8 minutes of Dean rambling on about things he's been angsty about the entire season. Most of the episode was filler stuff we'd heard over and over again. A bit anti-climactic, if you ask me, considering it's the next-to-last episode. Sorry if I'm disappointed.

Seriously, people can infer all they want but it never becomes real until it's shown or said. And hell, what did you expect Sam vs Lilith to be? Of course it's going to be a fight. So like hell I know you wanted to jump right into the action but what's the point if there wasn't a story to tell? Half the reason why we even care what these guys are doing are because of episodes like these.

Sam's hallucinations and Dean locking him into the vault was all to set up Sam running away and creating a rift, Castiel unlocking Sam's room and letting him go, Anna's situation, things that Ruby said and Dead did. It's all setting up for something more, but of course, it should happen all right away. Sam should have fought Lilith at least! Yeah...then...then what? Who knows, we've just fucked our finale in the second to last episode. Great job guys.

I don't see how it can be anti-climatic when the climax hasn't even started. If that was the last episode I would agree, but you've still got one more (plus a whole 'nother season) for shit to continue

I am both overly excited for the finale tonight and at the same time dreading it. Based on everything we've seen in the last maybe five or six episodes, it's gearing up to be a Lilith vs Winchesters and also Dean vs Sam. I'm gonna be really upset if Dean and Sam end up fighting, but based on last week's conclusion when Dean was laying on the floor and told Sam if he walked out the door to never come back....things on that front don't look good. 8 pm, can I haz it naow?

The way they tied everything together... Azazel's true purpose for giving Sam the demon blood, the revelation of why the Demon's Gate was opened, and how Dean's death played into his plans, and then Ruby's betrayal and death.

Extremely awesome. My only complaint is that we didn't actually get to see Lucifer or even a tiny preview of Season 5. Can it be September again?

I thought it was pretty predictable, honestly. I knew Zachariah was bad from the moment I saw him, and after he actually revealed it, it was obvious Ruby was a conniving bitch as well. Lillith also foretold her death earlier in the season, and seeing as we were on the last seal, I kind of guessed that killing her was the actual seal-- instead of her being the one to break it. Because honestly, why would they kill her after she broke the seal?

I'm wondering how Anna will tie into season 5, what with her being right about the angels.
She can't be out of the picture for good, she was easily the most interesting character.

Edit: The only flaw I see is... Why would Ruby help them re-manufacture Colt bullets in order to kill Azazel, if Azazel was in on the whole plan and on her side?

Trust. She was just helping set the pieces in motion.

Set dressing. If Ruby's death would have pushed Sam along then she would have died as well. Sam had to trust her, and her helping to stop his big bad is a great way to get that trust.

Lucifer is coming. Whether we saw him or not wouldn't change anything.

Next season will pretty much just be them trying to put him back down. The ex-angel mod squad of Anna and Cast will be running around helping as well.
