Lost La Vaule on Carbi. Some people tried but Sando bar was only up 30% at tally.

Yesterday we waited 2.5 hour spamming the entrance without getting in. After tally backchecked the door and you are unable to enter. The campaign ops guy acts like nothing happened tho. So gonna keep it flagged till we take lavaule next.

Siren has splitting heirs again, there was a peak of around 140 people in the zone doing campaign/op, we were 10th in line or so with more behind us for the op >_>.

As a side note, won in 20min as PLD/NIN, SAM/NIN, BRD/WHM, and RDM/WHM easily.

So whats a good strat for this? Bahamut has La Vaule this week.

Basic strat goes like this:

PLD
DD
DD
BRD
RDM
WHM

This is the basic setup. I am sure you can make other things work.


Pull NM that pops 3 shitmobs to Gate. Kill the 3 shitmobs. They have really low HP. They will repop but not relink as you are too far away now.

After kill the NM. He doubleatatcks lots, hits hard and has mean TP moves. He can do Shouldertackle for 800-1500 with ADD effect DEF down and Tornado Edge (Aerial Wheel thingy) for 800+ with add effect TP down HP down MP down. Both can be absorbed by Shadows but take multiple.

The PLD should NOT engage as he will counter his own shadows down. The fight is an endurance fight now over maybe 7-12 minutes where you gotta outlast him.

Because the fight takes so long any DD with some kind of hate control works well. Our THF died like every second run tho. We also took a BST with us for low hate with Snarl.

If something bad happens you can semi kite the NM a bit around the trees there. We did that once when our PLD died.

He takes quite a while to build Stun resistance. The last several runs, I went as NIN/DRK backup tank, which seemed to help with the damage taken. NIN/DRK in a turtle build is also capable of tanking him without sponging up much MP, which can come in handy because even a PLD will sometimes get effectively one-shotted by his double attack/mega-TP move nonsense.

As far as I know, these are the items not yet located from the patch that added Witch Sash&Co. --
Weapons: ^Balestarius, Dorje, Shenlong's Baghnakhs, Nanatsusaya*
Shield: ^Airy Buckler
Earrings: Crapaud Earring, ^Roundel Earring
Body: Hachiryu Haramaki
Belts: ^Cuchulain's Belt
Feet: ^Karasutengu*
*ed is everything that looks awesome
^ed is everything that seems likely to drop in the past due to its stats/name.

I see 3 things (Orcish Gauntlets, Karasutengu, and Balestarius) that have Campaign: effects on them. I would guess that one drops in each beastman stronghold from this quest. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say GA -> Beadeaux and Booties -> Castle O just because Quadavs use GAs and Windurst tends towards the magely jobs.

Furthermore, I'm betting the two grips drop from every one of these Campaign Ops.

So, if we're looking at one of those 3 items and 2 "other" items for the BCNMs, I'd bet that the 4 "other" items we haven't seen yet are:
Cuchulain's Belt, Roundel Earring, Airy Buckler, and Crapaud Earring.

Airy Buckler has STP, Haste, and CHR on it and is wearable by THF/PUP/DNC. That screams DNC. PUP isn't even going to wear a shield, and I'd think it'd be pretty situational for THF.
Roundel Earring has Waltz Potency on it. Again, screams DNC, which means the past.
Crapaud Earring looks shitty compared to Moldy or Novio, but it's better than Morion or Phantom by quite a bit. Could be designed to compensate for the influx of SCHs.
Cuchu's belt is pretty obvious; we've already found the other half of the set.
As for where they drop, I'd guess they're paired Melee item + Mage items again, though I can't guess where.

That would leave:
Weapons: Dorje, Shenlong's Baghnakhs, Nanatsusaya
Body: Hachiryu Haramaki
to be PW's loot pool, which doesn't really seem unreasonable. I mean, Dorje and Nanatsusaya both look like pieces of crap, but so it goes.

I can't see Crapaud Earring being a drop from the c.ops, simply because none of the drops we have seen so far have been Rare/EX, where as ZNM are notorious for having shitty rare/ex items.

Hmmm has it been datmined correctly? Wiki says R EX but FFXI AH says only Rare?

Im thinking Ree's Headgear, Refresh Boots, and Roundel Earring.

Cuchulain's Belt will probably come from Quadav one looking at stats
