I have not heard of a server keeping the beastman stronghold two weeks back-to-back. I got the impression that SE probably made the beastmen near invincible the week after losing their stronghold.

To my experience people ust dont bother trying. They save up 7 tags during one week and attack La Vaule the next week again.

San d'Oria on Fenrir has La Vaule this week and had it last week. We just didn't have Jugner Forest last week. Bastok and Windurst have all areas on their respective fronts except for the beastmen strongholds this week.

Bastok has all it's respective ares + Quadav Stronghold on Ifrit. I know a few people who will be attempting the BC throughout the week so I'll try to get them to post more details here. (I'm Sandy and won't be changing)

Don't need campaign to affect the region. Half the time there are beastmen there with campaign tags over their name, just no campaign going on. You and a couple of your friends can go in and pull them one by one and affect the influence.

Not entirely true. Last week we went to Castle Oztroja [S] and there were no mobs with swords by their names, we scouted the whole castle, and just killed Stronghold NM instead because we didn't want to walk away disappointed.

I think every other area must be controlled in order for mobs to be placed in the stronghold for which you can kill, during campaign or not.

So let me see if I have this right. Let's say the next time we take over all non-Beadeaux areas we start fighting to take over Beadeaux. Mid-week we lose control of one or two of the other zones we had but rather than try to keep them we just keep focusing on Beadeaux. The week ends, we have control of Beadeaux but lost one or two other zones, so we can't access the Ops. Are you saying that Beadeaux will sit there undefended by Quadav, remaining under Bastok control for the next week (weeks?) it takes us to win back the other zones and have Cracking Shells for a week? (whereupon we'll probably lose Beadeaux again)

That's what happened for us. I checked the map regularly, fort/resources nor influence bars changed at all for the majority of the week. Fort went up by 10 later in the week, not sure why I guess someone did an ops or something? Never saw campaign sword and nothing else changed.

I think this is correct, because back when all the mobs were piss easy, bastok had all zones bar Beadeaux[S] and they always had campaign mobs up.

Well, looking at the AH Airy Buckler and Crapaud Earring are confirmed Cracking Shells drops. That pretty much determines the PW lootpool by process of elimination.
