Seriously no one has been able to get the stupid key item to drop off a mob yet? According to another thread it's available on Unicorn this week too.

Some trivial things I noticed:
-I think the non-Grradhod/Za'Dha/Soo Luma mobs are pets, since they come after the armoury crate in the .dats.
-I'm guessing Darkheir Grradhod is supposed to be Bloodcrown Brradhod's (their emperor) son?
-In the past, Za'Dha has a different job (WAR) and appearance, whereas Di'Dha Adamantfist (I believe it's mentioned that they're bros) has his present job (WHM) and appearance. I'm thinking the Adamantking in the present is in fact Di'Dha.
Has anyone posted Shark Grip yet? I just found one on a DRK on CaitSith. HP+10 Enmity+3 is kind of nice.
Considering we got a Orca Strap from an Orc NM in La Vaule, willing to be Shark Strap is the same deal
The Sash and Grip have turned up on Quetz too. Only no City has owned all areas, either last week or this week...
sever transfer for potential $$$$
They are already down to 100k on Odin, and the trigger is obviously not holding all zones if other servers are getting the mission without that condition.
It might just not have been implemented before the last update and it needed something from the campaign system to be reset on Sunday.
I already knew but not on this level.
You must really love me or something. LOL Internet forum stalker. I was just responding to Wafik's comment that you could server transfer them for money. If the op is available without having what we considered to be the previous conditions and is appearing on other servers then it is likely worth much less than what most people assume. If it is dropping that fast on Odin, then once the op is available every where then the price is going to drop on all servers.
I mean if you want to spend $30 to server transfer a Witch Sash, go ahead. It would just seem easier to just buy the gil directly from the RMT if getting gil is really that important to you.
The items are being server transferred. They were showing up on other servers before yesterday. Spending $50 total to move a mule on an extra account for a chance at 15-20mil gil isn't all that huge, and doesn't quite fall to RMT'ing. You'd also be spacing out the $50 total over two payments three months apart.
They are from this mission, which is from owning beastmen strongholds. We no longer have it available on Odin, and we did lose La Vaule Saturday night. I believe the mix of people spamming the BC and NOT doing La Vaule campaign, plus with what I'm sure is some percentage of fights lost, Beastmen control ended up winning out.
To other people asking about the key item triggers etc, for future reference, it's really very straightforward. The key item drop is just like getting the items to access the Astral Candescence BCs - it shows as "Obtained Key Item: Tigris Stone" (in La Vaule, not sure about others, obviously) in your log, and all members in your party who are present in the zone when the mob is killed will all get it at the same time.
Then you simply go to the battlefield, click on the gate, and get in.
Ahh, I definitely misinterpreted the fact that the items showing up on other servers as being from the mission being available on other servers rather than server transfers by greedy people (though I could have sworn I read in another thread that another server got the mission without holding the areas, but I could be mistaken). I was out of town for the weekend, so I surmised that the mission had just opened up on other servers after the Sunday tally.
The problem is my constant naive notion that the players of this game wouldn't be so depraved and greedy as to pay real life money to transfer the items to other servers then pay again to transfer the gil back. You are correct, in this case it does not fit the technical notion of RMT, but at what point would it just be easier to just do the real thing instead. Sadly, being the person that I am I will constantly be astounded by the lack of conscience exhibited by the player base.
As for the battlefield itself, getting in really is pretty easy, friends from Versus and BBQ did it several times over the weekend.
So far there's 3 legitimate ways to use real life money to buy in-game services: Merchandise (Moogle Rod, Moogle Cap, Harpsichord, Tidal Talisman), World Transfers, Main character & additional mules (including all the ones people use for gardening & Mog Bonanaza) are in the same category. None of these are against the ToS as far as I know and that's really all there is to it.
