Both got key item off the mob.

Tons of people here spamming the Reinforced Gateway. Every once in a while I will get an option to start the BC and my screen turns black, but then I get booted out with a message "You cannot enter the battlefield at present. Please wait a little longer.". Guess the others are faster at clicking then I am. So far it looks like you may be able to take people WITHOUT the OP open into battle as long as they have a key item and the person starting the BC has both the key item AND the OP open. Still want to test if people from other nations can help with the BC but I can't find anyone.

You keep the key item if you zone/log. Going to wait for the crowd to die down before carrying on with the "Who can enter" testing.

Titan took over LaVaule, did a couple BCs. Not that bad of a fight, we held the NQ mobs and just killed the boss, the NQ mobs die when the boss dies. In two fights, got 2 witch sashes, and 2 wise straps. Are those supposed to be the rare drops? XD

I went with lyra and we did RDM WHM BRD BLU THF PLD.

PLD pulled to beginning, we killed the 3 summons and fought it @ door. PLD died @ one point and i kited on THF for a while in small circles. All in all it is a simple BC, the NM just hits like a huge, angry truck

Lost 1st one where we had NIN instead of PLD and 2x BLU instead of THF, but others have been decently smooth

head butt did not work out of the 4 times i casted it on the boss

we pulled them all back to the absolute start of BC and killed there, repops did not aggro/link us

Hmm we did that but they still came after us. Doing it with 4 people so if we can get away with not dealing with the babies we can win. he respawning is whats killing us.

The key point is the VERY start. Tank hold NM towards the entry gate while people kill the adds not more than 15" away

i spoke to lyra who gravity works on the boss, i'm wondering if it's possible for blm to maybe duo/trio this by having one blm open with ES sleepga'ing the assistants and logging out, while the other blm grav and pull boss to the beginning, and then grav and blms nuke.

can anyone whos done the bc with a blm comment on how much nukes do, if grav builds a resistance, and if the assistants would still follow when they wake up (someone said they link, but not shared hate)?

Had a friend flag the Splitting Heirs Campagin Ops today and we went to duo some Orcs. He's obviously allied to Sandy but I am allied to Bastok. regardless of the fact I am allied to Bastok, we both got the key item after the third orc kill.

Has anyone tried entering the BC with people allied to other nations yet they have received the Key Item when farming it with the person who has the Ops open?
