Has anyone been in with ppl from other nations yet?
about to find out, our 6th is a Windurst member, the other 5 are all sandy. I'll let ya'll know how it works out
Edit#1: just got the Tigris Stone, the windurst member got it too
Edit#2: 121 people in La Vaule[S] on siren atm... odds are we won't get in tonightsorry we'll try to find out when we can
Edit#3: holy crap we got in, but windurst member was not allowed to enter
We got the leaders of each PT queueing up in front of the entrance lol
So, does every member need to have the op flagged or just the person that enters?
Is there a reason why it's always Sandy getting control of La Vaulle on every server? Is getting control of that specific beastment nation easier than the others or Windys & Bastokians don't care?
Think Orcs are just easier to fight, I was Bastok before and i know they are way easier on lower lvl characters than the turtles.
Sandoria cus Iron Ram gear is there and its thebest set of them all so most ppl align there
San'doria is and always has been SE's fucking golden boy. Best gear, easiest NM's, storyline, blah blah blah.
I noticed, but Windurst will always be the greatest town
I love to campaign in GC. I had 5300 and 5090 tags there mostly just afking on a fort and killing the healing imps. It rarely gives me under 2k, and I can do it while I'm not there.
I'd imagine plenty of people switched to Sandoria around the same time I did, when the introductory quests in Sandy offered an Angelstone and Deathstone that were selling for ~300k, compared to the 10k gil rewards from the other nations' quests.
Strangely, on Caitsith no effort was even made to take Oztroja or Beadeaux.
Didn't need to change to Sandy to be able to do the angelstone/deathstone quests as I did them when I was already allianced to Windurst.
And about the controlling zones thing, La Vaule is the easiest to try and take over as someone said. It also helps when most of the NPC groups are durable as hell as opposed to say Windurst where its all mages, and they just can't take the beating and get wiped out pretty quickly without a lot of people trying to help them in an area surrounded by everything that aggros.
Yeah, but you have to do your nation's starting quests to move on in the missions. Killed two birds with one stone by switching to Sandoria to do them.
...it doesn't have to be your nation's, it can be any of the 3. Pretty sure I finished sandy first for the stones.
You can experience pretty much all the content while never switching nations. AN is so plentiful the cross-nation tax is totally unimportant. I'm willing to bet a lot of the people who helped get La Vaule were from nations other than Sandy (I know I helped). The only reason Sandy gets the zone more easily is because of the geography.
Basically what everyone else has been saying. Most Sandy generals can heal themselves without having to rely on the medics so they last quite a bit longer with multiple mobs beating the crap out of them.
La Vaule also has a better setup when trying to launch an offensive. I went down to Castle Oz when Windy had control of all zones last week and the Campaign area made me laugh. If you've never been in there, battles take place in Quu Domi's room and it's full of Yagudo, War Lynx and Pugils. All the hallways are full of Yagudo too. There really isn't any way to pull the Campaign mobs to the NPCs without having to wipe out all the normal mobs every 16 mins.
God, I dread trying to get it going in Beadeaux.
I want a Balestarius to play with dammit.
