Nobody really complained when the same thing happened to Kirin or Bahamut v2 though. And the only reason AV is dying left and right is that shells stockpiled loads of pop sets after many hopeless months of farming sea only to find their sashes, rings and GKTs locked away behind an unkillable boss who did not always pop.

Sea is finally at the state it should have been when AV was first put into the game. 100% drop pop items and farmable. Thanks SE, really. Good to see you've finally made changes to the fucking zone that according to Septimus ripped his shell apart. People are happy to be getting the items the put in many years into the game to work for. All the crying really seems to ignore that, as if somehow people played the game at this level (equipped to kill AV) for some sense of personal satisfcation, as if he's just another Taisaijin who grants you a funny title.

I don't buy the 'economics' argument either, because if it took 4+ hours of not fucking up even once (see: early Vrtra kills) the drops would be even more expensive.

The final point of 'now we'll never learn how to properly kill it' is a red herring; folks have been trying to find that out for ages and SE's answer was to halve his hit points and make JoL an utter joke of an NM. We still have zero new clues as to how to rein in AV's ridiculous regen, TP and 2hr spam. SE can fix that and the answer isn't 'nerf kclub zergs.' At least now with the 100% spawn rate we can learn about his 'modes' at a faster rate than before, and sooner or later the notes on those modes may unlock a clue. A clue that a KC-less shell with AV pops is well invited to pursue on their own and report back with.

I wouldn't say sea is fixed. Torque drop rates are still absolute shit.
And they gotta have a way better drop rate than those damn capes.

Haidate isn't exactly a 100% drop either. Ix'Aerns will become less fun to farm once the renewed interest in AV sparks competition for camps, but I figure SE will cross that bridge when it comes to 'the new Ullikummi.'

I just really don't think that many ppl have access to sea and most of the ones that do don't give a shit. (comparatively speaking when you look at sky)
The only reason I go up there is for limbus and novios.
I've watched 5 justice torques drop in 2 years and 4 of them have quit the game.

knowing SE, having their "super boss" that was unkillable, down to1min... will probably nerf kraken clubs or something in the possibly near future O_o

Rare items are expensive. Low supply, high demand.

    REALLY?!?!

    Did you really imply that?

When the ONLY fucking hint they've given us is SPECIFICALLY how to do that?

    My head hurts now, dammit.
