    Ventrilo Question

I have just started using vent with my new linkshell and I have a question... Is there a way to listen to music and then have it lower itself when someone speaks? Like say I have my headset on and the music is on during an event or whatever and then someone decides to speak on vent. The music would then become real low while allowing me to hear the person speaking and then go back up when the person stops speaking.

    Thanks!

Just get a keyboard that has media controls on it, and hit the pause button when someone starts speaking

But to answer your question, I've never heard of anything like that being possible

There's a plugin for Winamp for it (or maybe it was a vent plugin, that worked on winamp) that did just that. Unfortunately, I'm not sure where to find it, as I never DL'd or used it, but all my buddies on EVE Online had it. So, you should be able to find it.

There's actually one for Winamp for Teamspeak, I don't know if you mixed them up or if there's one for Vent too.

You may be right, for some reason, people that play Eve have raging boners for Teamspeak.. however I think winamp accepts pretty simply written plugins; if you can't find it, perhaps someone can write one for you?

ah ok, I was just wondering if it was possible. It would be a nice option to have though.
