You'd think that if they're coming from Japan that the west coast would get their's first, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

As for California being later, not sure if it even matters, but UPS world HQ are in Georgia (US), and UPS Americas HQ are in FL. Perhaps the packages go through there first.
