Hey everyone, first time poster here, found this forum via Kotaku. I like what I see so far, and since you guys have a background check forum, I'm gonna make use of it.

My linkshell has a BLM from the Phoenix server wanting to join us. She seems cool and knows her job well enough, but I wanted to see what what some of her former server/linkshell mates had to say. So yeah, it would be great if you guys could shed some light on this person. /backgroundcheck Atlas please!

did CoP 4-2(?) it was ouryu, wouldnt use sneak and invis all the way to the BC, because, ya know only noobs need it?

needless to say he aggro'd and had a little fit when we said not using the spells was dumb(he blm/whm)

then when we finally got to the BC he had to afk, so we decided to give it a test run with 5/6 ppl so we'd have a better game plan, he comes back 1/2 way through the test, goes into massive rage about how us stupid %£$%^'s etc were dicks because we didnt wait for him.

after the trial run we told him we didnt like the attitude and the abuse, then he d2'd someone in the PT.

left phoenix a long time ago, used to be somewhat of a joke on the server, enjoy spending time with him^^

Anyways, I received private messages from Finwich, linking me to a forum full of cat girl loving 30 year old men and an Allakhazam post, in which, Atlas is defending himself and surprisingly, a player named Kurohyou comes to his defense. Sounds like some people are just unwilling to let sleeping dogs lie.

Thanks for your messages everyone. They were much appreciated and Atlas will be welcome in my linkshell. If you guys can like, show me screenshots of this fellow acting up, I will look at them, but until then, please don't share this hearsay drama bullshit with me any longer. That's an awful way to get revenge on someone.

Hey, you asked. And you are absolutely right about there being two sides to every story and that story had some very strange and twisted sides all over. Right or wrong, and regardless of the issues, that was the type of drama that surrounded that person. I PMed you so as not to make a HUGE deal about it. You made your choice and I hope that it works out for you.

For sure, but I thought there would be a little more than hearsay to be shared. I was wrong about this forum~ Seems like this forum is simply used to /popcorn and screw with your enemies one last time before they move off your server.

test run was only to see how hard he hits, when he flys, what he resists, we were exiting with 4/5 members alive when he returned from his afk

i understand what you mean cthulun, but he had to afk for 30mins, we decided to give ouryu a try as 5/6, no 2hrs, food, or mistmelts. no-one had any prior experience of this fight either so we needed to do a dry run to test it, rather than wait on the guy who is to cool for sneak/invis.

maybe you just had to be there, but the general swearing at people before and after getting to monarch linn, next to no level capped gear, branding us all as "sneak/invis noobs" was rather frustrating.

also yes this is just my experience of him, others may have great experiences but i also remember alot of whitegate shout drama with him/her, be worth letting the leader of the ls s/he's applying to know the players character flaws, i don't know about skill-wise tho except he can't dodge aggro.

edit: atlas moved servers ... a year ago cthu, and i guess he's moved again, trouble fitting in?
