Didn't see it posted anywhere so thought I'd say it here, apprenitly quite recently, Square Enix registered the trademark "Blood of Bahamut".

In my opinion it easily could be a sequel to "Bahamut's Lagoon" but...it also has the possibility of being an expansion espically with Fan Fest in December. Annouce at TGS to JPs first and then actually show some content in December? Either way we should know which when TGS hits, if its a completely new game they'll likely annouce it.

I looked it over a bit, and while this isn't a guaranteed proof that BOB isn't an expansion to XI, note that the TESS registration for BOB doesn't reference IC 041, which is where all of the online marks and registrations occur.

For reference, WOTG *only* references IC 041.

Probably not, but who knows. Anyone remember just before WotG was announced and SE trademarked "The Last Remnant"? Use of the word "remnant" evoked connotation of the salvage remnant areas. In the end it just turned out to be one of SE's crappy stand alone projects that is already almost totally forgotten. Chances are this is the same kind of game.

Blood of Bahamut is likely due to SE's NA title scheme. I can't rememebr where, but in an interview Square Enix named WotG that rather than the Japanese counterpart because it "Appealed to a North American Audience" more.

Regardless of whether or not that is indeed the name of the expansion pack. I'm sure we will see "X of (the) Y" as the title. I won't even begin to speculate what Blood of Bahamut could be, we'll see enough of that if this gains any more clout.

It's impossible for Starbucks to burn coffee. They don't use burners/heaters to keep the coffee hot. They use thermal containers. You're probley just not used to that type of coffee.

Let me explain. I am there every morning that I go to work, every day coming home from work and that's where I go to meet up with friends or wait for a movie to start.
My budget on Starbucks drinks alone last month was almost $250.
I know what a good cup of coffee is. They can burn it. Trust me.

No, they can't burn it. It seems to me that the dumbass weighed out the wrong amount of coffee in the grinder, or he ground it too fine. No joke, you seriously can not burn Starbucks coffee unless they're not using Starbucks equipment.

They CAN burn espresso if their espresso machine is not working properly.

The espresso if left in the Portafilter for too long, it burns.

The tempurature on the brewing water too high could taste burnt.

The coffee is left in the carraff over 45 minutes it starts tasting burnt, past 90 minutes and it will definately taste burnt.

The commmon termanology slips in favor of the average man and the milk could have been heated to "Thermometer180" which has a cary-over heat past the stress point of milk and will taste burnt. This is why real baristas use thier hand and not a thermometer, Pain threshold is the same temp as properly steamed milk.

The beans could be old and oxidized, could lead to a burnt flavour.

The beans could have been mixed up House Blend + Espresso Blend + New employee = crap coffee/burnt flavour.

The caraff could have been vented improperly, and leads to faster oxidation = burnt flavour.

The caraff could have been durty = burnt taste.

Acidic water at the source and no proper neutralization = burnt flavour.

Improperly roasted beans = Burnt flavour.


Now, sure... It may not be "Burnt" per se, but theres a bunch of reasons it could TASTE burnt. Which is what people typically refere to when they say thier coffee was burnt.

15 years Experience in the field, managed 2 independant shops, semi-finalist in the national barista championships, worked as a machine tech for 4 of those years, and currenlty own a 3 group LaMarzocco for personal use at home now that I have a real job lol.
