Yeah, I hope this is her last episode. Maybe she's at that big high where she has her power, and now she dies? Then again, Lana never died in continuity, I don't think... and then again, this is Smallville. They don't really care all that much.

According to Wiki, "Kristin Kreuk is going to appear two more times as Lana Lang in Season 8 of Smallville" (that was AFTER mentioning last night's episode -_-)..
Ugh the season was getting good too and then they throw the last 3 episodes in to shit on it.
What's more frustrating is that they put the whole Lois thing on hold, and Lois/Jimmy/Oliver/Davis have all been absent from the show for the last 4 episodes.
Out of nowhere they turned a perfectly good season into another shitty Clana story.
I guess if they figure that they will have a Season 9, it's good to get Lana completely out of the way.
If I recall, certain characters are under contract to appear in X amount of episodes.
Kristin Kreuk (Lana) is only under contract for five episodes: Bride, Legion, Bulletproof, Power, Requiem. Requiem is the title for the episode on 2/5/2009
Erica Durance (Lois) is under contract for more than 13 episodes. She makes her return on the 2/12/2009 Episode "Infamous" and will appear in every other episode up till Eps 19
Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) did not re-sign his contract after it was up last year. He will not appear in any episodes this season. The person who is playing Lex in Requiem is a different actor.
As far as Lana's departure
Spoiler: show
Also, there is supposed to be a huge surprise somewhere between episode 20 and 21, and it's apparently something that is a huge deal with Smallville fans. Most people are speculating that:
Spoiler: show
wow thats amazing.
Lame episode
Spoiler: show
Also all this I love you "what we have is beautful" bullshit was lame. Next week:: Clark tells lois he loves her.
I'm just gonna pretend the last 5 episodes didn't happen.
Hahaha. Well at least Lana is gone? Also, I bet that wasn't actually Lex. Not sure they can get away with killing off a major character like him, and I seriously doubt he'd sit in a truck in Metropolis.. lol.
At least Lana's gone. All is right with the world again.
And I really doubt Lex is dead.
Yeah it was really stupid that they had all those previews about 'Doomsday is coming!" and he has had NO TIME in the last few episodes. I hate when shows do that.
Lex isn't "dead" remember this is the prequel to the real superman, and lex is one of clark's worse enemies >_>
Smallville has shown that they are willing to change whatever the fuck they want. Like.. Lana being such a HUGE part of Clark's life when in reality, she was just a hometown crush? Lol.
I agree... for all the writers care, they'll kill Lex off and then have a spinoff where Lex copied himself, and therefore doesn't know Clark's secret anymore since he copied it before he found out (or some other dumb twist... you know it's coming.. >.>)
Besides, didn't they say Michael Rosenbaum was going to appear in several episodes as a guest this season?
We knew he wasn't re-signing his contract since last season though.. from where is the assumption that he will not appear in any episodes this season though?
probably another actor.
There was little point to use Rosenbaum in that episode when he's not technically signed for the season heh... Like I said, they can still pull off some sort of twist and bring Lex back.
stupid reruns today, wtf
