That's Monique Ganderton. She actually served as Cassidy Freeman's (Tess Mercer) stunt double, but she is now cast as Alia who is some type of assassin and has ties to Krypton. The rumor is:

That she is Cir-El, Lois and Superman's "child" from the future (though technically in the re-written history of Cir-El she was actually created by Brainiac genetically adding Krypton Genes to a young girl) and she follows Lois back from the future

And yes, the Wonder Twins do show up around episode 5.

I suppose the color fits simply because it goes with the current theme of the season, that Clark is embracing his kryptonite heritage, which is what happened when the black kryptonite got him in one of the earlier seasons. Though honestly I think it's going to take something amazing for me to believe it works, I've seen Clark Kent get by as Clark Kent just because he's amazingly clumsy as CK, unless they get into that in this season it's a bit too easy to figure out who that guy in the trenchcoat is, lol.

I like the beginning dark superman look, reminds me of batman where he just wore a ninja suit starting out.

Terence Stamp may have voiced Jor-El for Smallville, but Julian Sands is taking on his Kryptonian form.

As seen in the season finale, Zod (Callum Blue) has ventured to Earth, albeit unaware of Clark (Tom Welling) and who he'll grow to be. Zod has brought a few Kandorians along for the ride — including Jor-El, Clark's biological dad. Sands' casting was first reported by EW's Ausiello. Jor-El first appears in the season's seventh episode, which is titled "Kandor."

The new Super-suit debuts at Comic-Con

Back at Comic-Con, executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders teased that because of the time-parallel caused by Zod, there would be a chance to see a living Jor-El. "You'll learn pretty quickly -- in Episode 2 -- what happens," said Peterson, who also teased that Stamp will be heard again this season as well.
