I do believe Michael Rosenbaum said he'd be willing to come back for a few episodes...so he probably will re-surface. No idea how they'll get rid of him again though, maybe they'll kill him off at some point.

Pretty awesome episode, honestly. This season has been win in comparison to previous ones. The Chloe/Clark angle is nice. Cool to see her love letter from the past. The Clark/Lois relationship growth is getting up there too. From episode titles, I think it's close to shit hitting the fan.

Saw the preview for next week, looks like the Clark/Lois angle is going to take a step forward, which is good... as long as they stop saying Lana (I know she's not a part of the cast anymore, but it's still annoying hearing that name... worst character ever.)

Continuity was nice (the fever letter), and I like the increasing Clark/Lois banter. The real question.. who has the damn crystal? Shelby (who seemed to be a different golden this past episode, didn't look like old Shelby)?! I think I'm in the minority, I didn't think Maxima was that hot, but I'm not really into redheads, especially ones with a moustache.

I don't think Lex is the person who would come back and live in hiding. So he doesn't have the Crystal.
