It's the 28th. I don't know where people keep getting the 4th, other than some inaccurate news post that went up on some site as an estimation.
its also shipping the 28th, so in most stores the 29th
Finally pre-ordered this and Fable 2 today. Now I just need to think up an uncreative name for my PSN ID. >:
If you're looking for grossly uncreative, might I suggest Xx_Sephiroth_xX?
You can't go wrong with a capital and lowercase x at the beginning and end of your name.
Depends on Region i guess.
US - Week of Oct 27th.
UK/Europe - Week of Nov. 3rd
Japan - Oct 30th.
SCEE has just issued a statement confirming the game will be out in the first week of November for other territories. The statement reads: "Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is pleased to confirm that LittleBigPlanet will start to appear in stores no later than the week commencing Monday 3rd November in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, on a country by country basis. We appreciate all the enthusiasm surrounding this much anticipated title and we would like to thank PlayStation fans for their support and understanding."
Im not even going to bother picking this up now, mostly because I got bored with the beta and the novelty wore off quickly for me and just too many games coming out I plan on buying. Hope you guys continue to enjoy it.
Aw @ Kyo XD
Well even after watching the videos the only thing which seems interesting are the user generated levels, like the computer someone made. I really don't see the full potential though obviously because it seems like it's just a bunch of walking and jumping. Are there not any ways to interact besides being dragged, grabbing or pulling on something? The game looks beautiful sure, and the physics are amazing, but I just don't see the mass appeal besides playing through recreations of other games... If there was the possibility for more interaction like fighting of some sort there could be a bunch of maps designed with that in mind as opposed to simply always being about a "race to the finish" or a "get more points" end goal.
I still truly believe that the most enjoyment from this game is going to be had by people who consider themselves creative. Pretty general statement sure, and by no means trying to say that you aren't creative Kyo =P
I just think that the draw that is there once the Story modes have all been aced, and the created levels are getting swamplike as far as navigation goes... is going to be creation. Either that is something that really keeps you interested or it won't. Hopefully the extremely creative people out there continue to push the possibilities and then in turn inspire other players to do the same.
In the end, it will be a "i have seen it all" kind of thing, but i think that point will be a long time off. I also hope that Media Molecule does their part with DLC and add-ons as time goes on.
Either way, next week can't come soon enough for me.
i really think that there will be a really hardcore community with it, but for the majority of people i think they'll put it down after the first month or so
As long as BG'rs dust off their copy and take a look at my levels every now and then when i update =P I will be happy.
i'll play em np np, first was fun
By the way, if anyone wants a Kratos code I've got an extra because I went and picked up my card for the 3 costumes and stickers.
i have like 8 extra too![]()
