My sex education in school was severely limited (Oddly enough, I took vacations that fell almost religiously during the sex education times). It's not like I'm retarded because I didn't see the videos and shit. I know what a condom is, I know what birth control methods there are...kids know that if you fuck without protection, babies happen. And no, my parents never had a "talk" with me really either.
I think the world educates you more on this stuff than videos and the sex education taught, though I'm not saying they don't work to an extent.

Let's say we keep abortion legal. I can't really remember any stats, but let's be conservative and say there are 500,000 abortions a year.

Let's say abortion is made illegal. Figure in i'd guess 20,000 or so abortions made on the "black market" 5,000 trash can babies and hell, let's throw in another 100,000 just for shits and giggles. That's 125,000 dead babies.

500,000 - 125,000 = 375,000 differance in dead babies.

Some people here throw a fit about the 3,000 in Iraq, but don't care at all about the lives we could save each year here at home.

If the abstinence only education in schools is really that important than come up with a way to make sure parents do their job as parents and teach their kids the rest of the stuff at home. If parents taught their kids anything then we would not need sex education at school.

That is the impression that I get from pro-life people who are very very 100% under any circumstance pro-life is that the potential life is more important to them than the one that already exists.
