Ugh if AD doesn't play we're screwed. Carolina's defense hasn't been playing that bad - they've been opportunistic. They remind me somewhat of the Packers defense - good cornerbacks, linebackers who don't miss tackles. If AD is a no go, I'm gonna change my pick and go Carolina.

On Marshall - is this resurfaced charge going to force another suspension? If I recalled correctly, he won't be suspended for this (it occurred 6 months ago, Goodell certainly had news about it when he handed out the 3 game suspension) - anyone certain?

And is it just me, or did Goodell really slap people with the banstick - how many suspended players did we have?

Brandon Marshall, Bryant McKinnie, Chris Henry, Jerramy Stevens, Steve Smith (actually, team suspension here), there was an RB that was suspended as well - I want to say Dominic Rhodes but not 100%.

There are a ton of suspended players...I like what Goodell's doing though, for sure.

If AD is out, the Panthers will win this game. AD is key. I'm already on the line of flipping a coin between the two as it is, but with Frerotte coming in, and AD missing the game (if it happens), I don't like their chances.

HAHA the Bengals have half of the NFL's suspensions. Frostee Rucker, they released Ahmad Brooks, Henry etc.... Cant forget about Goodells favorites, Pacman and Tank Johnson. I like Goodell also, players know from the JUMP that if they get in shit they are suspended and fined by the league and some are subsequently released. I like how he holds the clubs accountable also for drafting suspect players if and when they get into trouble, it filters the trash out of the league.

I mean back in the day Lawrence Phillips got what? 4 suspensions before he was released and then IMMEDIATELY picked up? I mean how many time in an off season can you beat up and brandish a gun in from of your baby mama? Tagliabue kept putting him in rehab and meetings and shit, the concept of "you can take a nigga out of the hood but you cant take the hood out of a nigga" flew right over Tagliabue's head.
