I got my macha body on my 2nd trio run try, something you can probably handle well They were actually really ugly runs, rdm blm thf, and we wiped twice the run it dropped, lol.

is something I've seen all too many times. You get the ugliest run you've had in months, and it's almost guaranteed to drop something.

The guy from our static who is first on Ares legs had to miss two runs due to the recent hurricanes; GG3 dropped both times. Good old SSR.

I'm inclined to agree with the 2.5% thing. SS is really the only zone screwing me over, boss won't drop 25s, Hammerblow won't drop 35.

The other Salvage group in my LS did get 2 slops, but I think they had to spam it every day for a month before they finally got something to drop.. definitely a test of endurance.

But yeah, spamming SE's suggestion box isn't bad either. Of course the worst part about Silver Seas now is when you see that treasure box, you think "YAY DROP". . and realize that the other drop besides that Enyo's Mask and Hoshikazu Hakama is just an Alexandrite pouch.

It's alright though, we've made quite a collection of hats out of our Hoshikazu Hakama.

We have 9 35's in SSR out of 251 kills = 3.59%

Only thing I can really recommend is using swear words.

Out of like 60~ SSR runs, the only 35 I've seen is 1 Macha's Slops, which unfortunately dropped while I was in a pick up group about 2 weeks ago, and my 980 lot failed me. 4/6 people in that run were on their first salvage ever, and the guy who got the slops will probably never upgrade it.

Nothing you can do but keeping spamming SSR. It's strange that they decided to make the drop rate so low here, while frogs have a ridiculously high drop rate. Out of like 25~ frog runs I've seen 11 35s.

This looks like the best suggestion so far, I mean come on its too bad in SSR. I actually see it making people hate salvage, and in general the amount of time it takes to get 1 piece of equip to drop.

I think our sams did about 20 Koki on CC the day we got our Usu body.

This. Our group had a curse of 0/whatever Morrigan Slops. Took us 9 months of Salvage nearly every day to get those to drop. But they did. Was long enough to make 2 Usu Head, 2 Usu Masks and 2 Ares Legs drop BEFORE finally seeing them.

That's not fucking possible... We killed Hammerblow, Powderkeg and GG3 way over 100 times and got a total of 3 drops.

What path/strats do you follow?

Is it possible that treasure chests are linked with the drop rate of Shade/Imp/Citadel? Stealing those pirate's booty would decrease the drop rate.

Zone like zhayolm make you pick between gears and chest for example, and the idea is similar.

Anyway, it's a stupid idea because there is no chest in GG3 rooms, and SquareEnix is stupid enough to set the drop rate to 1%, but I can hope.

We do all NM's and boss either way we go, so I don't think its that much different. On first floor we skip last 2 rooms of each wing if we do Hammerblow, and kill the last 2 rooms of each wing if we do Dekka.

And speaking of Treasure Chests, exactly what is it that causes the 4 chests in the first room to not spawn? Occasionally we only get the 4 chests in the last room. Not saying its tied to Treasure Chests, 'cause we're that lucky in all zones (23/59 Archaic Chariot 4 double drops 1 triple drop, 20/40 6F Madame 1 double, 4/22 Psycheflayer), just curious as to what causes it to not pop.

I've been wondering this as well. On one occasion, two chests popped in the first room (the two on the right when first entering the room) but the other two did not. It was kind of odd.

I thought it was related to killing non-required Ramparts on the previous floor up until this point. Now I just don't know.

About 200ish SSRs:

2 Machas's slops
4 Usu heads

Nothing else.

0/150 on turtle, 0/~90ish on gyro3, 2/130ish on Powderkeg, 4/52 on Hammerblow, 0/20 or so on Dekka, 0/20ish on Gyro1.

These NMs seem to follow the 2.5% drop rate on 35s that the QQTHs in arrapoga follow, and not the standard 5% from most things. (And I use 5% liberally, as I think it is slightly higher on some things). Madames have about a 10% it seems. Bhoot/flayer seem to have higher drop rate from groups ive seen.

But ya, fuck SSR, as my sig says.
