Plus with all the tattoos, I wonder if they will melt and the ink will run. He may look like a smurf.
Wow, I'm actually a little bit ashamed of myself for saying that.
Not funny fag is not funny.
Pictures of the wreckage came out recently and it doesn't look too good. Apparently both Travis and DJ AM were concious following the wreck and not paralyzed, as they were both standing up on the road next to the wreckage trying to put out the fires on themselves. Which is a good sign, i guess?
I had only read that the two of them pulled themselves out of the wreckage, nothing about them attempting to put out the fires. Though when you're on fire it's kind of common sense to stop drop and roll I guess. Either way being tossed into the burn unit is not exactly a bright shining beacon of hope. The problem is that until the hospital actually holds a press conference, everything everyone is saying is pretty much unsubstantiated rumors.
Brill, titles like that is what causes people to create duplicate threads.
Prayers go out to everyone involved in this accident.
The End is here. All thats left is for Sammy J or Chuck Norris to bite the dust. 2008 is turning out to be quite the fucking depressing year.
Wow that's awful. I'm taking a Medical Ethics class and we just watched a documentary on a man with severe burns yesterday. Did NOT look fun.... the reason we watched it is because he didn't want treatment, he just wanted to die, the pain was too great and he didn't want to live his life a cripple (Lost all his fingers and his eyes too). Doctors wouldn't withhold treatment, etc etc
Hope he makes it, he was a great drummer. Even if he does make it, though......burns are probably one of the worst things you could have to recover from.
Not if they actually have a shred of intelligence.Brill, titles like that is what causes people to create duplicate threads.
The major problem with burns and the wounds associated with them is that they are portals for infection. I really do hope they both pull through, though.
"Over 65% of airline-related burn injuries are from jet fuel burning off of the skin."
Stop, drop, and roll is going to save the day.
lolwikipedia, but..
They both recently released a mixtape called "Fix Your Face"Information released after the crash suggested that Barker was burned from the waist down but expected to survive, with DJ AM suffering burns to his face.[7][11]![]()
I went and saw DJ AM like a month back, he is an amazing dj, I truly hope both of them pull through=/
This saddens me a lot, Travis Barker is an awesome drummer, and Blink 182 is one of my favorite bands dating back to my days in high school when they had first started and released Cheshire Cat cd. I hope he comes through this.
Also, if this tragedy had never happened, the issue holding back a Blink reunion would be Tom Delonge, since he his the reason the band went seperate ways....though they could always reach out to Scott Raynor (the original Blink drummer) if Travis wasn't able to recover and they did ever want to reform, I suppose.
or a Transplants reunion D:
Both are expected to make a full recovery the doctors have announced. DJ AM has burns to his hands and head, Travis has burns to the torso. Obviously, we're talking about 3rd degree burns here. The docs say they should make it though.

I didn't even realize they were performing like 10 minutes from my apartment. My in laws live like 5 minutes from the airport here.
Well, this just got a tad bit shittier.Tragic Twist In Jet Crash -- Why They Flew

Travis Barker's assistant wanted to get home in time for his pregnant wife to give birth.
We've now learned why Barker and his friends decided to get on that doomed Learjet in South Carolina late last night, and the explanation can only be described as a horribly cruel twist of fate.
It all started some time yesterday, when Barker's assistant, Chris Baker, told the guys that his wife was going into labor. Barker told him that he would do everything in his power to get Baker back to the hospital in time.
The quickest way back to Van Nuys was that Learjet. We're told Barker usually won't fly on private jets, but made an exception for what was supposed to be one of the happiest moments of Baker's life.
The plane crashed shortly after midnight, killing four people -- including Chris Baker. Baker's wife went into labor early this morning. Baker has another young child as well.
Wow that's really sad
