Toonami block ends

There's been lots of talk about finishing it with a movie, and I think Genndy Tartakovsky has said he's committed to finishing it -- just a matter of when.

But man, that's rough to hear Toonami's leaving. I remember watching it back when it started. Was definitely some good times... Time to pour some out for our homies...

Something always bothered me about Toonami though, it was an obvious play on Tsunami which was basically screaming 'LEWK KIDS WE HAZ THE JAPANEEZ CARTOONS'. I don't know why it bothered me but it always sorta did >.>

I fucking hate what Adult Swim has done. This Tim and Eric bullshit, that people pretend to enjoy the same way others pretend that tossing shit on a canvas is art, because you're able to "appreciate" utter failure. Wtf happened to Shin Chan, or that anime they started showing with the prince and the woman with the spear, that got a full 3 episodes in and got canceled. I would fucking LOVE to see Adult Swim stick with a lineup for more then 3 days, they had a golden lineup for the weekdays and Saturday for 2 weeks, then hosed it down with shit.

The anime (seirei no moribito) with the woman and prince is on now, I just saw the intro flipping through channels.

It's too bad about Toonami though. I haven't watched it in quite awhile, but it's where I saw Yu Yu Hakusho, which eventually lead me to watching more anime.
