I just noticed this thread and wow I can't believe Toonami ended. : (

Toonami probably started it all for me in terms of my interest in "anime".

Coming home from school to watch DBZ, then I tried shows like Tenchi Muyo, Gundam Wing. I remember watching Toonami all the damn time. : (

Meh I first interest in Anime was Ranma when I was like 6 and I didn't ranma was an anime till later on. Ranma in spanish was bad ass... thank god for big dish that gets mexican channels <3

I'm into the whole detective/CSI/mystery thing and the thing that got me hooked was Case Closed. Used to stay up past 1-2AM just watching it every night and then one summer they completely scrapped it and then moved it to a 5AM airing. I haven't watched CN since.

Anywhere I can actually watch this? I can't use torrents at work.

I never understood fucking tenchi there were like 3 different ones that just seemed alternate plots (Like they all started out the same but had a different story line) then one that was supposed to be a sequal.

Actually, Big O's first season was on Toonami first, but edited a little. 08th Team was awesome.

The Tenchi series just had alternate universe storylines, really.

I remember watching DBZ at like 6pm instead of doing homework and I used to get yelled at for it but it was so worth it.

I also remember someone telling me that goku goes ss4. An toonami was only at the part when goku dies and has to fight in some competition. I was so pissed, I didn't understand the stuff we were seeing was old.

I also remember that kid who would make his hand look like a gun an shoot beams from it. It was on adultswim then went to toonami. Memory lane~

Yu Yu Hakusho was great. I only hated that stupid arc with the zoning people. The part where they head to demon world made it up I guess. : p

God I loved Kuwabara's VA for the english dubs, always made me crack up even at the moments you weren't supposed to laugh, lol.
