I think it's shitty with the PW stuff, because they posted in the PW thread when it was being killed, they obviously used community information but refuse to return the favor. It's REALLY clear the only reason they don't want it to get out is to avoid it being posted on BG/other sites, which is a dick move.

As far as the LS system goes, yea it's bullshit, but obviously no one in the LS has a problem with it because they are still functioning.

Big freakin' deal, it's their ls, AV is one of the rarest mobs in the freakin' game, and people who don't like how they did its drops can leave or don't join. I think it's a drop system I would never parttake in, not even for AV, but it's not my business, it's not my shell, it's not my server.

LS leaders takes off with all items, only thing regular members get is what leaders already have. Ok this is the first upsetting thing.

LS leaders charges regular members for items but does not pay themselves. Second thing that is upstting.

In my old HNM LS that I lead we shared everything, sellable items were split on people attending. Leaders had the same lotting rights as regular members, no bank, no abuse.

The only regulation we had were if someone had gotten a Dalmatica or smilar that person whould be asked to not loot high-value items for a period.

2) Selling AV drops is good money until people work out how to kill properly and flood the market.

Yea it sounds like leads are being biased, but if they weren't there, would you have the drops in first place? If the answer to that is yes, make your own LS.

LS leaders decide one day they don't care anymore, and leave. So do members. There is very little in terms of a solid predictor of who's leaving, and when, since they tend not to want to announce it in advance.

1) You generally don't know many specifics before you join. LS don't showcase the flaws in their LS rules/loot system.

2) Depending on situation, loyalty to friends and members, not wanting to jump around to another LS and be dumped on the bottom of the waiting list, worry that members will shit talk you when you try to get into another LS (There are plenty of people who when we ask about new trials, are pretty bitter, from previous LS), and so on. That's how it's a hard concept.

People are such hypocrites. Had this been Exellence or WopaCompany, this thread would be 20+ pages by now.

I think people stay in shells with unfair/tilted rules because of the lack of alternatives. If there was a shell or two equal to SA's skill/success, then you'd probably see a system like that fail because people would migrate to an equal shell, better rules. When you're at the top, you set the tone for your server. You can put things in place that benefit whoever and those that don't like it can either:

a) stay and get some rotting things along the way while being part of the best LS on the server
b) leave and get fewer items at a slower pace with a weaker shell

Also being at the top attracts enemies and shit talking with rival shells. So even if you wanted to leave, you probably won't have much of a chance joining a competing shell, especially if you engaged in the drama.
