Took me 2 hours to get a Mystical Stick. >< Kumatora's Gloves came a lot easier. It really wasn't that bad since I completed a set of tails + then some and the drop rate on those items was far wore.

Off to Chapter 8 and New Pork City. I was actually looking forward to this part of the game thanks to Brawl.

First time I went in there I had very minimal resources and didnt treat it as an endurance fight and didnt go so well.

Second round was much easier now that I knew what to expect.

I want to think that his 'laser attack' isnt a normal physical attack, guarding with ultra buffed def made normal hits in the 20/30s while that laser beam was (while guarding or not) around 100.

Ya laser beams, bombs and missles (I think Bottle Rockets are an exception) in the Earthbound universe are like special attacks which pretty much can't be guarded against since they're not physical and they're not PSI. It's why I hate fighting enemies that use them because you can't guard against that damage.
