Also: SE mentioned in the update notes that the word "Augments" is specifically an addition to an ability, whereas its my understanding that "Enhances" simply means it strengthens the effect of the ability.

"Augment" refers to the addition of extra effects.

A perfect example of this is the Valor Surcoat, which they also updated.
It "Augments Cover", giving it the ability to regenerate MP when you successful cover an incoming attack.
Compare that to the Gallant Coronet, which "Enhances Cover", allowing you to cover against magical attacks.

This is about all that we know about what the difference between 'Augments' and 'Enhances' as SE sees it.

Other than the high delay the Glanzfaust looks pretty cool. Not sure why people hate it (or MNK) so much.

This wasn't meant to be a theory. It was more or less meant to be a suggestion that people that wanted these weapons should hold on to a bit of hope. I was actually originally only going to post about the Scythe, and then I noticed how the Monk weapon was worded as well and thought there's the possibility its implying a relationship.

It was also a suggestion that people don't try to discourage others from getting a weapon they are interested in and that jury is still out on just what these weapons are capable of. People who were interested in a weapon should still hold out hope and not be so eager to give up on their Einherjar and Nyzul Isle events, that's all.

Errm, I'm not trying to provide any startling revelation and I'm not trying to be famous. I was just trying to make conversation. Instead of bumping the thread repeatedly, why not just let it sink to the bottom? Do you pride yourself on having the ability to spot an opportunity to put someone else down?

What's wrong with my character previously being from Fairy server? I understand Fairy server has a lot of flaws but I don't see why this should be an issue. I don't talk to those people anymore and I don't agree with hacking and drama associated with them. Just because I was originally from there doesn't mean anything I say should just be branded "stupid".

Why not just have a fun and constructive conversation? I guess this is why JP use anon boards... This is just an idea, but when replying to a thread, if you have something to say about the topic, then say it, and if not just let it sink to the bottom, rather than bump it and make comments because you don't approve of someone who created their character on <insert server here>. Then maybe we'd see some actual progress and we wouldn't be still trying to guess at things like the value of drop rates and Treasure Hunter.
