nice-any pics of parses vs those relics?

I don't have a lot of records, since most are deleted, but I have a couple relevant ones. Ones against our Apoc user are all gone, but I've outparsed him. However, he's still getting used to using Apoc I think though. When I pt with one of our Amano's, it's usually not parsed (I'm on PS2 so I can't get parses for all fights I'd like to), but it's easy to tell who's pulling ahead.

If I didn't try to Solo SC and wait to SC with others all the time, I could probably do better ;x I've been trying to get recent, fair parses between one of our Amano's, our Apoc and I, but we always end up with no voke or a over run camp or some shit. Ideally I'd like to parse against our Apoc with Me, Him, a War, Cor, Brd and Rdm, and the same for our Amano user. Usually its all 3 of us though and none of us want to voke or anything lol.

Here's a few parses as a sample...

kabob for 15min, bream sushi, no food, sole/+1, and piercing dmg bonus on birds-what did you expect lol. i was looking forward to the apoc and amano parses.

I party with Jiyo regularly and no matter what this dude pulls ahead of everybody. Mandau Thieves, Amano Samurais, Apoc dark, we have all that in our linkshells and whether it's mamools or birds, he simply owns. The lack of enmity gained from using Namas is absolutely insane. It's like dealing invisible full damage. One provoke holds hate over 2-3 Namas with just melee from my Great Axe. It's utterly annoying that it's like that for me, but it's also really amazing to watch him work with Soboro+Yoichinoyumi. Give SAM/WAR with those two weapons a BRD and a RDM and they can keep chain on birds all by themselves.

True he puts out a ton of DMG, but he puts all the burden of tanking on the rest of the melee. Granted this isn't a bad thing per-se, but parser will always be tainted for that reason. He can literally go full out on DMG while the other melee are limited by the necessity to try and negate dmg taken.

All colibri parses are irrelevant data. Jade is probably the best for a 'fair' parse; and even then if you have a yoichi-sam, the parse should be taken with a grain of salt due to the nature of the said job.

9.75/10 Rng/War ~ 9.5/10 Sam/War

Pros-
-Yoichinoyumi- 81 DMG and 524 Delay (allows for a 6-hit without /sam by using Rajas and Skadi's Chausses)

-Yoichinoyumi- DoT from this weapon is probably the best in the game minus the relic gun. A properly buff relic Rng/War (Minuetx2 + High quality food) should always hit a HNM for 100+ per shot. I normally range attack birds for 515-575 non-crit with some crits peaking at 680-690s. I range attack non-piercing monsters for 250s-440s which is still insane DoT.

-Yoichinoyumi- Triple procs on the bow are probably the most broken aspect of the weapon. My triple procs on birds are normally 1600+ and 1100+ at Jade. Triple proc barrages are also the highest spike damage in the game (Triple proc barrages vary from high 2ks on JoL to almost 9k on Dynamis Lord)

-Yoichinoyumi- Namas Arrow is probably the second best relic weapon skill in the game because of the hate generated from Namas. A Soboro Sukehiro Sam/War with the proper support and gear is one of the best DDs for HNM fights and merit parties. The added ranged acc. you receive from Namas is nice but the mere nature of Namas not producing large amounts of spiked hate, really makes this relic worth the 130m price tag.

Cons-

-Yoichinoyumi- No real down side for a ranger. The only bad thing from this bow is when you hit a 7/7 triple proc barrage on Odin or Fafnir and even that is still fun! Oh yeah! The one bad thing about Yoichinoyumi is that you will not be able to use Sidewinder as much >.>!

-Yoichinoyumi- The only down side for a Sam/War with Yoichinoyumi is that it requires HQ food (Top tier food) and good support (normally x2 brds or Brd+ Cor with a drk in the party). Without proper support Namas damage will drop below 400s on HNMs. The tp spam can also become a factor for the tank party and may not be optimum for certain fights such as Khim or Cerberus.

To summarize Yoichinoyumi-
Insane DoT on merit and HNM fights.
Namas Arrow makes Baby Jesus happy.
Triple Damage!Mmmm 8k Barrages
Be ready to die!

I wish you were on my server IZzy, I'd gladly go in a parse off with you in KRT on skele on my thief, and compare. I'd probably whip out my Deae Graetia + Justice Sword tho I won't get hexa, but a THF's true strike is nuts.

Has anyone rated the gun in this thread? I know the argument is that the bow is better, however if I was to upgrade another relic, it'd probably be gun since I think it's awesome.

Is it terrible like claustrum, or is it more along the lines of non mandau/amano/apoc relics?
