Went to free lot in our Dynamis LS. No one lotted. It dropped to me because I have my 5/5 SMN AF2 in storage. I think this is the game's way of apologizing to me for taking so long to drop my first SMN horn.

Yeah, if I have the patience to hold onto it for that long. In my Dynamis LS we pick a #1 and #2 job to help determine priority, and SMN is neither my #1 nor my #2 for CoP, so I'll have to wait until a horn -1 goes free lot, or until my WAR belt drops so that I can substitute SMN in. I guess I probably will end up keeping it until then though. I've had WAR/DRK/DRG hands free drop to me over the years and I haven't had the heart to toss any of them. And it gives me a reason to temporarily retire my bufferless SMN. ;(

So... a good 6+ Months ago I decided to basically retire my NIN (no suppa, no room for merits, I have PLD for tanking and better jobs for DDing, etc), and I was running out of space in my storage (I keep all my rare/ex crap that I rarely use here + like seals / linkpearls etc). Having decided that I would more than likely never get the 35 piece for Usukane feet, nor did I care to ever get it (MNK is 37 with no intentions of levelling it, SAM is 54 as was only ever planning on taking it to 66, NIN retired - 75 long time ago), I figured these could go (yes I know this screenshot alone is going to make plenty of people hate me, trust me I know how lame LAC is, I have 3 people in my group already that have Hikazu Sune-ate and need the 25):

That was on August 19. Tonight, the salvage group I run (double runs one day a week) was short a few people, so we ended up only having 5 people for our second run, I decided on Bhaflau since farming ramparts is pretty easy to do with THF MNK SAM BRD RDM (DCed my mule to get us in), hoping Mad Bomber would be up cuz we need lots of Morrigan Hands / Marduk Legs, Gate Widow hates us, we are like 1/16 on drops off that stupid spider. Mad Bomber was up, we farmed 1F rampart, got 2 spiders, no drops. Moved on to 2F Rampart, Lucky us, 4 Skirmish Pephredo's decided to show (first didn't pop till 55% lol), annnnnnnd :

We only had 1 person there that needed the boots at all, the other 2 that could use them weren't there that night so... I got them by default. I have a feeling it'll be a LONNNNNG time before I see the 25s for these (not that I really care, I wish I could give these to one of the people that would use them). Sorry for the long winded post, I thought this qualifies as pretty fail (by me )

Oh and @ Kaelia LOL, the same thing happened to me with Scout's Beret in Dynamis-Qufim (we got two), I forgot to pass on it and the game decided my Scout's Attire needed to stay stored on the NPC.

But, after 2 years of salvage with this group, we still only have 2 pairs of usu feet, one quit the game, the other thinking about quiting.

My group is pretty new, I started it just over 3 months ago (though I've done a lot of salvage myself for over 1.5 years) and we've done 2F Rampart 6 times, 3 times Skirmish Pephredo has popped 1-4 times, and we have 4 x Hikazu Sune-ate (hate me even more now? <.<). We've done 1F Rampart 7 times, and we have 0 Marduk Legs & 1 Morrigan Hands, highest Gate Widow spawn we saw was... SEVEN, 0 drops. Honestly my group has ridiculous luck in every zone except Zhaylom so I can't really complain. First run we ever did was SS to get my Ares Body 15, and we went 1/1 on Hammerblow (I pledge that Kabuto to the "noob to salvage luck" - take someone who is a salvage virgin and you get TH+100 lol). Anyways, continue with the failing, love this thread lol.

WTF. I was fighting Temperance on SMN, its in blunt mode so I initiate Mountain Buster with Titan. Just as I initiate, I see it start to swap to slashing mode so I release (before BP goes off, to try and save the MP from being wasted). As soon as I release it swaps straight back to blunt mode. FUCK. YOU.

So 2 days before this shot the same guy was asking for help to get a Failnaught(THE IRONING) so that he could use Archery to keep hate as NIN/RNG(why yes, that is the enmity-5 bow). The times we let him come PLD to events he did rather poorly, and wiped us at JoPrudence as NIN by voking a normal squid instead of a baby. Last week when asked why we never let them come PLD we finally gave up and explained it was because they were bad at it and they apparently left the shell over it.

erm yeah, it was the other gimp wannabe PLD that we lost that messed us up at Prudence, by not knowing how to kite and trying to use Kurayami for hate(this was a full Valor PLD, who also did not know which mobs were which jobs in Dynamis).

The one that tried to use Ichi NIN spells for hate said that was because he was rusty since we never let him come PLD. Cuz I know for sure that when I only break out my BRD once a month I cast Minne on the BLMs.
