Random fail.

This same pick up group then pulled an nm thinking it was the one they needed on a specific enemy floor, followed by a rampart when the nm didn't work. Needless to say we timed out while I was telling them the right enemy. I was weakened because they got me killed on the previous floor or I would have just soloed it. I was tempted to ninja the rdm sword that the nm dropped and use my fireflies, but I can't do that even to people that almost deserve it.

I had a similar experience the other day. Spec single, enemy was a marid. My macro goes off, /p Ranged Attack Marid, and the SAM and MNK decide to pull Hellion(big unsleepable Jnun NM), so meanwhile for 5m I'm yelling "KILL THE FUCKING MARID". Then finally we get to Fafnir, we are short on time because of the fuck up on Spec Single. The SAM and MNK 2hr, I use Wild Card and give 2 hours back. The monk goes again and gets terrored, meanwhile the sam is completely ignoring me.

The party chat basically looked like:

Luckily last nights feet run was beyond easy and made up for that horrible run.

Custard > 2 Heraldic Imps > All with +30STR pathos(Mobs were dying insanely fast > Spec single Draugar > Faf with over 10 minutes

I run out of range past the safe pull spot to avoid the Burst like always...
My pt starts to beat on 1st flayer and I go charging right back into range of flayer2 without thinking...

BOOOM! Eat a 1450 burst ftl.

lol, I did that duoing Taisaijin as war/sam with a rng/sam (gathering for Dynamis B.) ... we were both getting beat pretty hard and it started casting Flare on me... I ran out of range, waited a little (not long enough) then started running back and dropped to the floor. The rng did finish it off so still got the title and no drop.

I take my chances sometimes because "statics" can be so fucking flaky. I've had a few Nyzul statics fall apart after just a few days of runs, and the way I see it is, "Well, this tag is either going to be used or not, might as well at least try it." Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised, just, shit doesn't fucking drop and it makes me want to /wrists.

I hear ya, I may start doing pickup nyzul myself just to get it done. >.< Nyzul itself is pretty much fail lol, what with the waiting to get in and the weapons not dropping and the nothing ever dropping and the timing out at 10 seconds etc... Sadly I don't have any screenshots but we had a floor once that was impossible to pass, it consisted of:

a large map
a large number of gears (single and triple)
truesight imps
draugar
possibly some soulflayers, I really don't remember, at that point we were too busy fighting/sleeping imps and gears to notice anything else.

...it was an ordered lamp floor with at least 4 lamps.

Never seen one worse than that.

So I head over to check on my tag refreshes, and see him standing there by the sanction guy, turban/hachi hands/haidate/fumas... DOMARRUUUUUU, check him, no sea access apparently (woodsman x2, fowling/bush), nq amemet, Hagun, PCC.

I know you need to communicate in Nyzul, but you don't need to have long conversations, simply typing Gax <Light>, or <Help me out!> will get the point across.

Here's my contribution to the fail for today: Exited due to lack of time on floor 8 nyzul. It went a little like this:

WTF Nyzul, WTF. In the end, we ended up doing two more runs and winning both, but still. It was like inviting a GF down to meet the family, and she kicks grampa's dog.

Had a run about a week ago where the bard used flies as soon as we started instead of his RR scroll. I even spammed in party chat that he was using his flies because I knew what was happening, but he wasn't paying attention (obviously). Almost made it through in time anyway, but last floor was a huge kill all floor with a Dahak at the end.

Yeah I typically agree, but often it depends on what else you roll on the floor. In this case we were already down to about 15 minutes left, and it turned out this was a very spread out four ordered lamps with about trigears flying around everywhere, in two of the cases standing on top of the lamps. Like I said, we exited on floor 8 - meaning we finished that floor and the next one also, but it sure as hell didn't impress the members that were new to Nyzul.

On the plus side, as I said to them at the time, that's about the worst Nyzul can throw out you, and by far the nastiest combination of floors I've seen to date. Worst single floor is also a pretty sad story though...

We finished a legs boss with about 5-6 minutes left on the clock, and warped up, only to land on specs (pudding x5) avoid detection (gear x 4 gears x4 ...ish? Been a while.) I think between melees running around blind corners and rdms helping to nuke down puddings without looking where they were standing, we had 3 aggro... and every single one took time off. ><

This is my Ls's first ever Omega which we did tonight. It was 75% of the group's first time fighting him, so we super mega over-prepared.

We followed the amazing strat posted by Keako (thank you and props) ended up killing it it less than 9 min after we entered. (just wanted to make sure we won, we'll farm gunpods more in the future ).

Needless to say, Altana decided to grace us with these drops. . .

Oh well, at least we got a Magenta chip off the Pod, I hate Apollyon NW .
That and 4 of our group have Blu 75 and could use the helm, so at least not a total loss.
