I read most of this thread but fucking seriously. A Good merit PT doesn't need /nin to rake in fast exp and survive.

All melees who don't sub nin are selfish? Fuck that. I sub /whm to drg 100% of the time when I merit and still put out constant high numbers. The only time I ever really care to sub nin is on WAR in merits and even then I never use it anymore on birds when I have a job that's better geared & merited out for pts like that.

As for sams not subbing nin, there is no reason they should have to unless they totally fucking suck ass at Seigan and 3rd eye.

If I ever go to a merit pt as whm, its damn near impossible to run out of mp and i sub blm >.> (yes i'm gimp no sch sub lol). That whole sam/nin thread fails because I can spam Regen III and hastes and still have 700mp for cures. So imo, I just think that OP on that thread is butthurt he cant find a mage that can keep up.

I take offense to this D: i rarely have to even rest as WHM/SCH unless somone is taking a serious beating, it's all about low cures unless somone is in red. The primary reason ppl bitch about sams needing /nin is because they want a excuse to go afk during ther fight leeching exp, "omg i don't have to heal going to go scratch my ass for a few minutes"
