    Placement for 6th floor Qiqirns (attack path, not how to pop them)

    Hey guys, Im trying to milk an extra 2 minutes out of Arrapogga (since 20 minutes left after full clear+boss isnt enough ) Q.Q, and have been wasting time on the 2 qiqirns that pop on the 6th floor.

    The problem is the west one, the one with the short kite path. I try sending people to stand on either end to DD it and it never stops for more than half a second. The east path one will always stop at one end if there is someone with a bit of hate and fight.

    Is there a placement that will cause it to stop and fight at a certain spot? Seems like this one in particular is just taking a bit longer than I like.

    I've been trying to get people to stop in the doorway so it will come back and fight. So far they insist on chasing it into the room, so I don't know how well that will work.

    Never had problems with either. They both stop for us usually, only once in awhlie they don't and I don't really see anything being done differently when they don't.

    Lets all chase right behind the mine throwing qiqirin.. rather then taking the slightly shorter straight path.

    We do have what you describe on occasion, but usually after a few joggings it will just stop and fight. Or the BLM will nuke it down.

    Usualy died with in 30's to 1min just chasing after it, once it stops it usualy goes down to 20% before running off again. drk thf war mnk for dmg on it. 6th takes 10 mins usualy only.

    Ya, I was doing it wrong. I was treating it like the other one and standing on one end and nuke/WSing. The short path one will stop and fight (and then shortly die) rather fast.

    The long path one(east one) I think it is still better to stand at one in (in the room where ramparts are usually is where it will stop).

    We typically kill the last gear in the middle of the room, instantly gank the QQ and chase it to the room. I've only seen 1 or 2 ever leave the first room it goes to. We then have a mage nuke pull the next one, sometimes we actually have a blm here, again it is unlikely to make it out of the room it initially runs to.
