Teenah (staff/admin) over at 1up posted that they will be handing out beta keys on Monday.

So looks like LBP Official Site and 1Up won't be doing any giveaways until then. I doubt that Gametrailers does anything before then either. I half expect to see Gamespot and IGN wait until then to send their emails so... long weekend.

Grats Kyo! You are actually the first person i have even heard of that has seena code from Gamespot =P Let us know what you think when you pull yourself away. I still haven't seen an email from IGN or Gamespot =(

Well my eyes are bleeding out of their sockets and im tired, been playing for last few hours and wow this game is really awesome, im having so much fun with the creation tools, the platforming aspect is perfect, and overall this game is amazing what you can accomplish.

The level im working on is a nightmare before christmas theme.

Someone has got to know the answer. In the story level, Get a Grip, I am sitting at like 95% and cannot for the life of me find any of the other items to unlock. Are there some weird obscure items that are on top of trees that are difficult to get to? I found the star on top of one of the trees after jumping off of the horse but is there something else?

Disregard, I found it. Apparently the fact that I was flying by it so fast on a horse made me miss it. Finally 100% on all story levels.

For anyone waiting on Gamespot Betas (like me...) a staffer has been going through the emails over the weekend to verify correct answers and non-dupes and will be sending them out on Monday. Fingers crossed. How is everyone liking it after having played it some more over the weekend?

Yep yep, i have about 5 new "homepage" tabs all set and ready to go at work tomorrow morning. What would rule is if i don't even have to bother... and a nice email from IGN or Gamespot is in my inbox in the morning/afternoon.

I am kind of doubting that the official site, Gametrailers, or Gamepro do anything before 5ish PM. And then XPlay Beta Codes from G4 on Tuesday. Sheesh...

I am so antsy for this game, my daughter and i sat down tonight and created a level on paper... how sad are we?

I had gotten a pretty crazy concept in my head of what I wanted to do for an obstacle and wasn't quite sure if I would be able to do it since I hadn't really messed around with the developing tools yet. I started tinkering around last night to see if it was possible and it may have taken a couple hours but man I'm pretty impressed with myself.

There are conflicting opinions as to whether these levels will be deleted upon release of the full game. The PS blog says they will stay yet other people say they won't. I really don't want to put a lot of work into a level just to have it deleted.

iirc the LBP official blog said they won't as well. I'd count on them being non transferable and whatnot.

Gamepro is broken, though apparently handing out codes within the hour. That would be great if i actually received my confirmation email from them =P LBP Official Site still has no news, and IGN hasn't started sending out more codes yet. Also, i got the impression that Gamespot was sending more emails out today.

It is going to be a long day -.- I just hope by the end of it i have more than just a few more new site registrations in my inbox.

Beta contests are annoying as hell

I sent my IGN e-mail about 2 minutes after the last e-mail that they guy stopped at. (Stopped at 5:56 CST and I sent at 5:58 CST). 1200 beta codes for gamepro and about 50,000 people F5ing the hell out of their site. Suffice it to say, if I get an extra one, i'll give it to someone here. If I don't get any, maybe someone will be nice enough to afford me the same.

Without a doubt, should i get an extra BG is the first place i am going with it.

Gamepro - posted that due to the fact that their lowsy servers were crushed today, they will hand out codes on Wednesday.
Gamespot - post by Kristin claims that you will now receive a direct beta code in the email you used to submit your answers with, no longer will you get an email from her first stating that you won a code. She anticipates that these emails will start going out tomorrow or Wednesday.
IGN - Who knows...
Gametrailers - No info yet...
LBP News Site - Not a peep, still just the post that says "...Monday..."
G4's XPlay - Tuesday episode will have info on their beta giveaway.
