Live under a rock much? I mean, hell, the game is so popular the beta codes (which allows you to play a very little bit of an old game build for about 2 weeks [when the beta ends]) have sold on ebay for $90. That's more than the full game. It's popularity has crashed several websites when they do LBP promotions. Google or youtube LBP and you should get a plethora of results.

Thanks Kyo! So i got to play it last night (as did my daughter... she ruled at the second Garden level) and I am just as pleased as I thought i would be. Everything just really comes together i think. Whether it is the look and feel of the game, the tutorials (which are KILLER), or the ability to jump into a Party and just tear online levels up... it is all a blast. Got a join request from Kwijiboe and messed around on a few online levels last night.

I wanted to get 100% on all of the levels before i started the Creation mode, so only really just started on that last night. So far i am very impressed. Today i am just going to go through the rest of the creator tutorials (have already done at least 20) to unlock all of the tools/items there.

Oh and since someone asked, 1Up is still handing out codes for the next three days. Gamespot is possibly still sending emails, as is the official site and Gamepro (if you could register on their site before they took out the CAPTCHA image). I thought i remember reading that Gametrailers had keys to give too, and they haven't said anything yet.

Played the first level last night, didn't have time to play a lot because monday night football lasted about 16 hours. The jumping is kind of annoying for me. I just feel like I should be jumping higher. The controls are extremely fluid however. One would think it would be complex, but it's not. At the same time, i haven't attempted to build a damn thing yet. I've only put a few stickers on and stuff. Not a lot of gripes yet, but I'm not mind numbingly impressed yet (but I haven't even scratched the surface). It was fun for the few minutes I had with it.

Jumping has definitely been called 'floaty' all over the place. I agree, but then the floaty feel does suit the game. Do i wish it was a bit tighter? Sure.

I do remember correctly that MM said this was a very early build right? I wonder what, if anything, will be different in the final build. Even if they are just minor tweaks, i am curious. One thing i DON'T look forward to is replaying the 900 million tutorials in the full game. Ok... lol, i do.

Edit: Anyone notice yet that the Sprung Bolt tutorial is in Japanese? =P

Recup and I tried to share the beta I had (I gave him my account and had him get it from my download list), however, it didn't work like the other PSN titles we've shared. I got an extra beta key and gave it to him. If he gets any keys, he should have extra.

At least i got an email from Gamepro last night saying i DIDN'T get picked. Still hoping to get an extra or two for anyone that needs one. Also, LBP News Site still hasn't handed their 1000ish keys out.

Messed around more yesterday in the creation mode. I have maybe 2-3 more videos/tutorials left but haven't watched them since i haven't used "floaty material".

I had my daughter jump into my level i am making for her (pics later... =P) and good thing she did. She found a few glitches. She somehow managed to find a tiny hole that let her get behind an area, and then run all the way to the right where there was essentially nothing built. Nice job 5 year old Bug Tester!

I have a pic of my original drawing, i will get it posted here in a little bit. So far the level is coming along very nicely, with only about 1/4th of the total content limit "thermometer" filled up. The level itself is SUPER easy (it is for a kindergartner...) but i am liking the aesthetics so far. If i manage to complete it before the 11th, and anyone wants to see it, let me know and i can send it to your PSN.

EDIT: Added our rough draft. I am actually done with the left hand side and i would say almost halfway done with the tree. It will be interesting to look back on this once i have completed it and compare XD

EDIT2: Ps... the dolphins are what happens when you leave a drawing lying around for 3 minutes with your daughter lurking nearby. Sorry to disappoint, but Crazy Tree Level contains NO DOLPHINS!
